There have been several rumours about the much in love couple Aditya Chopra and Rani Mukherjee. Both have them are content to keep their relationship status private. Rani Mukherjee was criticized in the past for being responsible for Aditya Chopra’s breakup with his first wife. Though Rani Mukherjee denied these accusations, both she and ace Director Aditya Chopra, have always maintained a steady silence about their romance.

Rani Mukhaerjee and Aditya Chopra recently came in together at Choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant’s sister Shruti’s dance event Taj Express - the musical. Vaibhavi Merchant was the Choreographer for her sister’s event and wanted this event to be a blockbuster. Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra come in before the red carpet event and helped out Vaibhavi Merchant with everything that she needed to make this show an amazing dance event.

Rani Mukherjee the one time number one actress in Bollywood and the reclusive but much respected Director Aditya Chopra were very comfortable in each other’s company and were seen cracking jokes and having animated discussions between themselves and Vaibhavi Merchant.

Rani Mukherjee did make an appearance at the red carpet event a day later with her parents in tow. Aditya Chopra preferred to stay away from the actual event.

Vaibhavi Merchant on being quizzed about Rani Mukherjee and Aditya Chopra’s visit said, "No comments."

The bubbly Rani Mukherjee is these days upset is with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. Recently the filmmaker stated that Rani wanted the title Hadippa from him, but Bhansali’s sister Bela Segal also wanted to make a film in the same name hence he couldn’t meet the terms. He further said, "They then added two words, 'Dil Bole' with Hadippa and used it as Dil Bole Hadippa (2009). I was upset about it. I thought that wasn't done."

Rani who has given a mind blowing performance in Black of Sanjay Leela Bhansali in 2005 is rather shocked to learn that the director has dragged an age old issue now. "Sanjay needs to tell me why he has involved my name, probably because I mediated between Adi (producer Aditya Chopra) and him. I wanted things to happen in an amicable manner, but since they didn't, Yashraj (producers of Dil Bole Hadippa) did what they had to do,” says an upset Rani.

As an actor Rani accepts that she cannot take a title from anyone. She is least concerned about it. And how can she indulge in this business of title securing? "This is not my department. An actor only acts. Sanjay is also aware of the fact that it's never an actor's prerogative. Yes, as a friend, I tried to mediate, but the final decision was taken by the producers," says Rani. She feels that Yashraj didn’t do anything wrong in this case.

She is confident that Yashraj were right in what they did. "If Dil Bole Hadippa released, Yashraj must have got permission from the concerned authorities to go ahead with it. There are a lot of technicalities involved. You can't simply take a title,” says a supporting Rani.

There was once a time when the closeness of Rani Mukherjee and Abhishek Bachchan was the hot topic of discussion in the media. They were very close to each other and it was much clear that they were going to marry soon. But, things changed a lot and Abhishek married Aishwarya instead of Rani. He has now advanced much far in his life, but it seems as though Rani has been unsuccessful in forgetting everything.

This actress who has always kept mum on the topic, has finally said something about him. Recently, she talked openly on why she and Abhishek broke up when everything was going perfectly well. On the question that she was not asked to join the big wedding, she said that you must be mature enough to understand our relationship-what has happened to it. When your close one doesn't call you in his marriage, you should be able to understand that things have been bad.

"I have no complaints from him. He is happily married for many years now and that's why, we should forget everything. The main reason for our break up was the difference of thoughts between us because of which problems started. But, I have to admit that when he married Ash, it was a big shock for me." she said.
