Where Ranbir Kapoor has been rocking these days, his film Rockstar too has been on high heels of success. And it gets now success embossed since the movie has fetched 5 prestigious awards at the awards function held on 18^th December in Mumbai.

Imtiaz Ali directed vehicle and Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri starrer, Rockstar did the clean sweep at the Big Star Entertainment Awards beating out all other biggies at the event.

Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd’s Rockstar managed to grab all the big categories at the occasion that made the stars and the crew much happier there. The event was helt at Bhavan’s College in Mumbai where the who’s who of the industry came to adorn the function. The awards that the film obtained were in the categories - Most Entertaining Movie, Most Entertaining Song, Most Entertaining Actor in a Leading Role, Most Entertaining Song and Best Playback singer Male.

Ranbir Kapoor got hugely happy while receiving the Best Actor and Best Romantic Actor at the intoxicated night. The Best song was Sadda Haq and Mohit Chauhan bagged Best Singer.

Imtiaz Ali and Ranbir Kapoor are true buddies now after the success of Rockstar and they are even going to work in another big banner film together being director and actor. Many banners are showing interest in hiring the duo. The awards function will go on air very soon. Wait to see the stars of Rockstar rocking at the awards’ night once the event goes on air to please the movie buffs.

2 States, Sajid Nadiadwala’s delayed project is now once again up and would be running soon since the actor-director of the film have been finalized by the production house. Sajid Nadiadwala has zeroed in Ranbir Kapoor in the cast and Imitaiz Ali to direct this venture.

The movie was initiated with Vishal Bhardawaj, as director, and Shah Rukh Khan as an actor for the film but the things did not work out between the production house and the director. And there were also many other reasons as well which delayed the project.

Ranbir is to essay the character of a north Indian guy who falls in love with a South Indian girl. Ranbir and Imitiaz have been roped into this venture from Rockstar.

Ranbir is quite satisfied and he made Sajid satisfied as well that Imitiaz is the apt guy who can translate Chetan Bhagat’s romantic novel onto the celluloid. Ranbir is quite convinced and impressed by Imitiaz’s skills after working very closely with him in Rockstar.

The film was caught in many controversies initially due to the creative differences between Vishal Bhardwaj and Chetan Bhagat and then the clashes emerge because of signing the leading lady in the movie, etc.

Shah Rukh Khan and Vishal Bhardwaj, who was taken together to make a film by Sajid’s efforts, went to work together in some other movie later.

Sajid Nadiadwala wanted to take Ranbir in the main lead thus he was calling him and finally Ranbir said yes to the project and also convinced Nadidawala for the abilities of Imitiaz Ali.

Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri (the newcomer babe on Bollywood front) starrer Rockstar, after huge media hype and promotions by the makers, finally hits the screens all over. Imtiaz Ali’s directed venture opens up with interesting fun filled sequences that entice the souls. By the time the sequences begin shifting between past and the present, the audiences’ connection with the film develops instantly.

The typical Delhi college’s lifestyle and the heart-hitting beauty of the Kashmir valley have been captured magnificently getting glued to the viewers to the screens. The leading characters – Ranbir and Nargis, college mates, step out for the secret tour. Nargis (who plays Heer) is going to get married and before the wedding, she wants to do crazy things such as consuming desi alcohol, viewing the second class porn movies in small town and the things like that. The youth’s spark has been executed on the screen with conviction.

First half goes brilliantly well grabbing the attention of the viewer but the post interval portion appears a bit lackluster since the narration turns mundane. The film lacks in another issue – realism. There are a number of sequences which the viewer cannot swallow. The audience begins thinking that the intelligent director like Imtiaz could have done with these sequences by injecting more realism. Since Shammi Kapoor, the late star who passed away some time back, too made his appearance on the film and it is his last film as an actor, the sequence between Shammi and Ranbir appears simply heart-warming.

Janardhan Jakhar (Ranbir Kapoor) is a n immature but a guy who loves cheers. He has one big dream in life – to become the biggest rockstar just like Jim Morrison. Soon he comes to know that all rockstars shares one thing in common ‘tragedy’. To become what they are today, all stars have undergone mammoth sufferings and struggles. He loses his heart to his college mate, Heer (Nargis Fakhri) who wants to enjoy craziest things before she gets married. Rockstar is the journey of the passionate music lover Janardhan who embarks to become a rockstar.

AR Rahman’s music is a class to listen too. The soothing composition entices the souls. The editing of the flick is average. This venture of Imtiaz resembles with his previous movies – Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal.

Story is good and the screenplay is creatively penned. The execution on the screen is good but not of that standards for which Imtiaz is known in the industry and among the audiences.

Ranbir Kapoor shows his class that he is the one actor who keeps on improving. He is simply wonderful in the role of a rockstar. Nargis Fakhri looks amazingly gorgeous and enacts the part well. Rest of the cast too does the job well.

On the whole, Rockstar is a good entertainer but not extraordinary fête.

Well, Nargis Fakhri, the leading lady of Ranbir Kapoor starrer Rockstar, has a Brazilian husband. Her Brazilian hubby has been making bigger ripples these days.  Hmmm….this babe is not married, guys….balance your breaths….she is married in the film instead.

Moufid Aziz, the Brazilian born model turned actor, is Nargis’ hubby in Imtiaz Ali’s flick, ‘Rockstar’. The guy has not been introduced in any of film’s promotion and has not been even fetched along to promote the movie.

When asked about his absence in the film’s promotions, he said that Imitiaz is a great director and he likes to offer the surprises to the audiences and may be his part is a big surprise for the viewers. Well, it’s a good judgment by Aziz!

The Brazilian actor revealed that he has been in India since 2007 and he has been paying the taxes here. He has done and is doing many modeling tasks here and then he felt the need to showcase his acting talents. He decided to join in Bollywood and straight went to give audition for Imitiaz’s Rockstar. He bagged the job instantly. He delivered two auditions and soon was fetched by Imitiaz Ali.

His role is of a man who does international business ventures and is a kind human being, who is caring for his family – his mother and wife (Nargis Fakhri).

Aziz has done many modeling jobs and has walked the ramps in various countries like Germany, Portugal and Spain, etc. Like him, Nargis too has been an international model.

Ranbir Kapoor, the current Bollywood heartthrob and the central focus of the film fraternity and most importantly every known brand, is the one guy who has been well in news due to his romantic link-ups with several leading Bollywood actresses like Sonam Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, Priyanka Chopra, Katrina Kaif, Nargis Fakhri and others. This playboy, on the other hand, says that he has undergone several heartbreaks so far in his life.

About Ranbir, it is said that he makes the romantic association with the leading gal of the film he works with in every film. Presently his co-star is Nargis Fakhri, with whom he has been dating since the movie went on floors. For Nargis, Ranbir dumped the milky sexy beauty Katrina Kaif and now the rumors are that when he will shoot for the next movie, he will dump Nargis and head to the new lady.

With Deepika Padukone, who has now been dating Siddharth Malya (the liquor tycoon), Ranbir was in a committed relationship and his family had even approved the gal. Ranbir Kapoor’ s upcoming Rockstar has been making bigger waves in the media and the among the cine buffs. The film is laced with huge hype. The heavy promotion is being done for the movie – every medium is being used to promote this flick. Even Ranbir is now set to hit the house of Bigg Boss for the promotion.

Eros International Media Ltd and Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision Ltd’s presentation, Rockstar is a romantic drama that is all set to hit the screens on November 11^th. Ranbir and Nargis Fakhri, his costar in the movie, have also been much in news due to their romance. Ranbir has been dating her and this certainly gives more popularity to film as well.

Dhillin Mehta’s production and Imtiaz Ali’s direction, Rockstar has really been rocking. Late Shammi Kapoor too makes a special appearance in the film. Oscar winner AR Rahman composed the music and Irshad Kamil has written the lyrics.

Synopsis:

Janardarn (Ranbir Kapoor), who was born and hailed in the middle class family of Pitampura in Delhi, has a big dream in life to be a rockstar one day like Jim Morrison. But every time he attempts for a gig, he is made fun from the audiences. He is humiliated.

Soon he comes to know and realizes that all the musical and film stars have one thing in common and that is ‘tragedy’. The stars have undergone sufferings and tragedies to reach at the point they are today.

Heer Kaul (Nargis Fakhri), the undoubted diva of the college campus. She is gorgeous, talented, arrogant, wealthy and unavailable. She is the girl who has broken a number of hearts.

Rockstar tells the journey of a dreamer who leaves his self ‘Janardan’ behind to become ‘Jordan’.

Ranbir Kapoor, today’s hot sexy guy of the tinsel town, is all geared up to visit the house of Bigg Boss. The season five of the reality show is going on these days with much oomph creating huge buzz, cat fights and big TRP for the channel. But to make it lavish and memorable forever, her beau Ranbir Kapoor did the wonders which actually made the birthday much excited. Nargis cut the cake and celebrated the birthday mid-air. Nargis is making her Bollywood debut with Imtiaz Ali’s ambitious movie, ‘Rockstar’. She is doing the main lead opposite beau Ranbir Kapoor.

While the couple was on their way to Nagpur, Ranbir surprised her girl with the birthday cake right in the mid air. The birthday was celebrated 20,000 feet above the earth. Ranbir had also ordered goodies along with Nargis’ favorite cake.

Ranbir and Nargis have been dating since the movie went on floors. Mohit Chauhan sang special song for Fakhri in the plane. Producer Hiren Gandhi was also there.

Nargis had announced her birthday on twitter when she mentioned that she was missing her mother and father on this happy day.

She hails from the U.S.A and missed her whole family on her birthday. She got overwhelmed when she cut the cake. After this lavish birthday in the air, Nargis mentioned on twitter that Ranbir’s surprise really surprised her and she got hugely happy.

Both Ranbir and Nargis have been spotted together at various locations. They have been dating since long. After dumping Katrina Kaif, Ranbir turned to Nargis Fakhri and the two seems happy in each other’s company.

Rockstar  is expected to be a big blockbuster and is being awaited.

Ranbir Kapoor and Nargis Fakhri starrer Rockstar is all set to hit the screens. The movie has been well in news since the day it went on floors. The flick also grabbed the huge attention because of the romantic link-up between Ranbir and Nargis.

Imtiaz Ali, the creative director, has done everything possible to give the movie a true authenticated look. Shree Ashtavinayak Cinevision and Eros International's Rockstar carries a Kashmiri Pandit marriage on the celluloid for the first time and the sequence shows the all rituals and traditions.

Before filming this scene, Imitiaz asked the line producer to help him meet the Kashmiri Pandit family so that he can understand each and everything related to this wedding and ofcourse he wanted to create the authenticity in the sequence. The house of the pandit was located in a small Hindu settlement in Srinagar. The whole crew under Imitiaz Ali’s captaincy went to the house and stayed there for around three hours. While enjoying the Kashmiri tea over there, they learnt all about the weddings taken place there.

The crew then stepped towards the famous Kheer Bhawani temple, bumped into the priest and watched his own daughter’s marriage video so that a true feeling about the rituals could be developed to be used later in the film’s scene.

Manish Malhotra and Akki Narula, the designers of the movie, walked around in the streets to learn about the fashion and traditional attire Kashmiris use.

While the scene was being shot, the locals were allowed and had full freedom to stop the director and let him know the right thing if anything was wrong.

The film is scheduled to be released on 11.11.11.

Another instance of association between Hollywood and Bollywood. A.R. Rahman’s new compostion venture for the movie Rockstar involves a rocking number “Sadda Haq”. The Mozart of bollywood collaborated with MJ’s lead guitarist Orianthi Panagaris, who worked with Micheal Jackson for the ill-fated “This is It” concert. She also played and sang at Jackson’s memorial on July 7^th 2009. Apart from Michael Jackson, she has worked with several international artists like Alice Cooper, Carlos Santana, Carrie Underwood, Adam Lambert, Steve Vai, Allison Iraheta, Koda Kumi and Slash.“While Rahman and Imtiaz Ali (director of the movie Rockstar and with hits in his kitty like Jab We Met and Love Aaj Kal) had short-listed several Indian and international musicians, they had Orianthi on top of their list, given her incredible body of work and her huge international success. Imtiaz Ali spoke at length with Orianthi expanding about Rockstar’s story and relevance of “Saadda Haq” in the film. Rahman recorded the 'Saadda Haq' in his Los Angeles studio. The process took six hours, while Imtiaz witnessed the entire process through Skype software apps. Orianthi won the award for “Breakthrough Guitarist of the Year 2010″ by the Guitar International magazine. Rockstar releases on 11 November starring Ranbir Kapoor and absolutely stunning model, Nargis Fakhiri.
