Shah Rukh Khan’s Don 2 has released with much oomph and style all over the world. The opening was brilliant in India and abroad. The screening of the movie was arranged in Mumbai where who’s who of the entertainment industry of India came to adorn it.

King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Ritesh Sidwani were there at the door to welcome the guests and they pleased everyone who came to adorn their flick. The party regulars – Chunky and wife Bhavana Pandey, Sanjay Kapoor, Neelam and Natasha Poonawala came first. Then appeared the sex bomb choreographer Vaibhavi Merchant with Kunal Kapoor.

Zoya Akhtar, Adhuna Akhtar and other regulars like Arbaaz Khan, Shabina Khan, Kalki, Anurag Kashyup, Anoop Soni, Bhushan Kumar with wife Divya Khosla, Dino Morea, Juhi Babbar and many others came specially to watch the screening of Don 2.

Farhan Akhtar had shown his confidence about his product prior to the release and even he praised for his own direction. Though it does not seem good to praise own work but when you have consumed yourself fully in making something you can be rest assured of the success. This was the case with Farhan when he praised his own movie.

The movie opened to packed houses on the opening day. The film’s business on the opening day was pretty good. Let’s wait and see what happens in the days to come. Shah Rukh seems fully confident of the forthcoming success with Don 2 and same is the case with Priyanka Chopra.

Finally the wait is over for Excel Entertainment’s Don 2. The sequel of the 2006’s hit Don is ready for your pleasures. Farhan Akhtar’s directed and produced saga is lavish and a lush product to lure the audiences.

The execution of the movie is simply marvelous. Farhan has done the job with such ease and aplomb that the viewer does not get bored even for a minute. The edge of the seat thriller, Don 2 carries the brilliantly written script that holds values. The film is laced with the international look and it seems no less than a Hollywood flick. Akhtar’s Don 2 carries the Bond and Tom Cruise flicks’ style in plenty.

The viewer is not aware of what will be offered in the next reel and what the Don will be doing in the next sequence. The suspense element is intact throughout the flow and that is the beauty of the movie.

Don (Shah Rukh Khan) happens to be a cold blooded man who is super dangerous this time around. Roma (Priyanka Chopra), who shares a turbulent rapport with Don, is after his every move and there happens a cat and mouse chase in the flick.

The movie is well equipped from all respects but the first half of the movie nonetheless carries a bit flaws like it lacks the entertaining stuff a bit (just in few sequences). And other lacking of the flick is that it does not focus on emotions. Second half is laced with blood boiling scenes to enjoy with.

The film begins in Thailand and then shifts to Malaysia where Don surrenders himself to the cops (Om Puri and Priyanka Chopra) who puts him behind the bars in Malaysia where he meets up his older foe Vardhan (Boman Irani). With Vardhan, Don designs a scheme and they escape from there and reach at Zurich and then land into Berlin. Don has to rob the currency plates but it is not that easy. Thus he hires a hacker (Kunal Kapoor). Roma is thoroughly chasing him.

The direction of Frahan Akhtar is simply awesome and he needs deserving applauds for this. He has made Don 2 like a true international thriller. Script is well-crafted. Dialogues carry the oomph. All departments including music work luminously.

Shah Rukh Khan has once again done the anti-hero job with super ease. He has done the award-winning job in Don 2. Priyanka Chopra does splendid with acting. Lara Dutta is gorgeous and first rate. Om Puri gets wasted here. Kunal Kapoor does fine. Boman Irani is brilliant with his act.

On the whole, Don 2 is the best movie of Farhan Akhtar’s career. It is a lavish product that will make bigger collections at the box office.

Shah Rukh Khan’s another magnum opus ‘Don 2’ is all set to be out in theaters on December 23^rd all over. The international release of the movie too will hit on the same date. But the film has been released in the UK prior to December 23^rd. The director and the producer of the film Farhan Akhtar has shown his super excitement on the reaction to the movie. He is super happy that Don 2 has been going on well and the promotions of the film too have been great.

Well, it is a fact that promotional activities of the film so far have been superb and they played the vital role in maintaining the worth of the movie.

Khan is pretty much happy these days and the reaction to the film in the UK made him extra happier. He is considering Don 2 to be the biggest hit of the year and it should be since the efforts, money and hard work injected in the preparation is endless.

Farhan said in an interview that he liked the movie a lot and mentioned that he was not saying in the context that he directed it rather if he put himself aside from the director’s chair, nonetheless he found the movie brilliant.

In India and other international circuits, the film will be out on December 23^rd. The Indian audiences are waiting desperately for the mammoth lavish release. Huge turnover is being expected on the first day of release. Let’s wait and see.

The latest buzz is that the cold war between Salman Khan and Priyanka Chopra is going to end since both have now decided to perform together at an awards’ function to be held soon. The whole world and their fans know the fact that the two are not on amiable terms and have been undergoing the cold war.

Both have worked together in two movies in the past – Mujhse Shaadi Karogi and Salame-e-Ishq and the audiences had liked the pair a lot but soon the war took place between the two and then the masses did not see them working together in any movie even on any stage.

The main reason behind this cold war is ofcourse Shah Rukh Khan, as Piggy Chops is the friend of Shah Rukh Khan that Sallu mian does not like at all.

Salman, during the promotion of Bodyguard, had termed Kareena Kapoor ‘a true desi girl’. Well, this was obviously a hint to PC from Salman. Since the tag of Desi Girl is limited to Priyanka (due to her song ‘Desi Girl’ of Dostana’), Salman gave this tag to Kareena instead of Priyanka and this the Piggy Chops did not like at all.

Well, now it seems that the war between the two stars is going to fade away since the two have agreed to perform together on an awards’ function that is going to take place very soon. It means, the fans will now be able to see both of them sharing screen space together. Good news!

Dharma Productions makes the remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer blockbuster Agneepath (that was originally made with Amitabh in the lead by Yash Johar in 90s) taking Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the main leads. Karan Johar, the son of the deceased filmmaker and the producer Yash Johar, is much excited to churn out the remake of his father’s blockbuster product. Karan and his mother Hiroo Johar produce the flick under their banner Dharma Productions.

The film is directed by Karan Malhotra, who also writes the screenplay of the movie. Ajay Gogavale and Atul Gogavale score the music whereas Amitabh Bhattacharya writes the lyrics for the film songs. The film’s shooting is going on and the movie is expected to hit the theaters on January 26^th, 2012.

Katrina Kaif has specially been roped in to do an item number.

Synopsis:

Mandwa, a small village in India, where Vijay Dinanath Chauhann (Hrithik Roshan) gets the training by his principled father about the fire’s path, Agneepath. Vijay’s life gets utterly scattered when a hazardous drug dealer Kancha (Sanjay dutt) drags his father and hangs him to death. Along with his pregnant mother, Vijay leaves the place to reach Mumbai. He now has only one purpose and mission in his life and that is to return to Mandwa to tackle the things with Kancha. He wants revenge from the drug dealer.

In Mumbai, the 12-year-old Vijay gets to meet the gang leader of the city Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor) who takes him under his mentorship. From this point on, the saga takes place of revenge where Vijay does all to reach at Kancha. Kaali (Priyanka Chopra) his love supports him all the way. After 15 years, he gets all set to take revenge from Kancha.

Shahrukh Khan starrer Don: The Chase Begins (the remake of the original Don of Amitabh Bachchan) had vanquished the flags of fame and success in the world few years back in 2006 and after the mega success the makers of the movie, Excel Entertainment (Farhan Akhtar and Ritiesh Sidhwani) had decided to make the sequel to the film. Now the sequel ‘Don 2: The Chase Continues’ is all set to come out featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Boman Irani and Om Puri in the main leads.

Frahan Akhtar is to direct this thriller. It is being said that Arjun Rampal will not be included in the cast in this sequel.

The sequel was to start much earlier after the release of Don, but since Farhan got busy with other projects and Shah Rukh too with other movies, the sequel could not happen. The shootings of the flick had started from Berlin, Germany from October, 2010. The rights of the film have already been bought by the Reliance Big Pictures from Frahan Akhtar’s Excel Entertainment for a price of Rs. 125 crores.

Synopsis:

Shah Rukh Khan plays the Don – a wanted man. In the previous film, he was wanted and being hunted by the law agencies of 11 countries. Don is now the new unconquerable king of the crime world. He is the Don of the Asian underworld. He is now more ruthless than before. He has fastened the belts to play the bigger games. He has a master plan to eliminate his enemies and would like to bring the entire Europe on his knees. He bumps into Roma (Priyanka Chopra) who is on way to take avenge of her brother. She loses her heart to Don.

The thriller is scheduled to release on 23^rd December 2011.

The news have been making the bigger rounds in the media and all over the web that Piggy Chops (Priyanka Chopra) is all set to launch her debut music album. The gorgeous-steamy actress is now turning singer. For her debut vehicle, the heart-hitting gal is in Los Angeles these days to record it.

The reports have it that Priyanka Chopra will be making associations with some of the biggest musicians of the West there. It is said that Chopra will also collaborate with the pop icon Lady Gaga for one of her special song in the album.

Both Priyanka and Lady Gaga bumped into a bash in New York when Chops was there for some work. Meeting with the international sensation, Priyanka got hugely excited. During the meeting, it was settled between the two sexy ladies of the entertainment trade that Priyanka would be performing at the Indian leg of Lady Gaga’s concert. But now this dream of Priyanka seems impossible to come true since she is in Los Angeles and Gaga is in India for the concert.

A few days, Piggy Chops stated in an interview that she would not be able to join in Gaga in India due to her hectic schedules of music album in LA. Priyanka tried hard to take some solution to come to India for meeting up Gaga and performing at her concert, but unfortunately she could not manage at all. Chopra is a big fan of Gaga and is upset about not joining in her.

On Twitter, Priyanka sent Gaga her best wishes for her debut concert in Delhi mentioning that ‘her beautiful India will allure her and she would get a lifetime heart-hitting experience from there to remember.’

King Khan (Shah Rukh Khan) has been flaunting the flashing bigger smiles since the day of release of his magnum opus, ‘Ra.One’ as the movie has started making the bigger sales (as expected) at the box office.

Ra.One is called the SRK’s most ambitious project so far in his career. The expectations are there that the film would become the top grosser in the coming days.

The opening day’s (26^th October) business for the film was simply brilliant. The business was the second highest ever for a Bollywood movie collecting Rs. 26.5 crores with a net of Rs. 18.5 crores.

The second day’s business was awesome; as it made Rs. 36 crores gross with net of Rs. 25.10 crores.

In two days’ business, the movie collected Rs. 62.50 crores. It is simply record-breaking.

Ra. One’s release date was simply fabulous – on Diwali. The film’s budget is Rs. 150 crores and it released on 3100 screens in India with 500 being in 3D format and 1000 screens in overseas market.

The mammoth marketing and huge hype have been creating the biggest business for the movie and it is being hoped that within next some days, the movie will break more records.

If the makers are happy (Shah Rukh Khan and wife Gauri Khan), the distributors Eros International are also colossally happy with the two days’ business of the film.

After some days, there is another big occasion ‘Eid-Ul-Azha’, so the film will be fetching more viewership in India and abroad on this festival.

Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra make the reunion. Well, don’t get it in a wrong way, they are not making their romantic reunion or the likes rather it is for a film to be directed by Kunal Kohli. Both the stars would share the screen space together once again after Vishal Bhardwaj’s blockbuster ‘Kaminey’ released in 2009.

Kunal’s upcoming untitled flick is a romantic saga set in three different time periods i.e. 1910, 1960 and 2012.

Kohli reveals about the venture mentioning that the film tells the story about the soul mates who bump into each other across different periods. He further adds that his enterprise will be a timeless love story.

The movie aficionados would watch both Shahid and Priyanka in utter classic, retro and contemporary avatars.

Kunal Kohli’s untitled outing is expected to hit the screens by early next year. The film has reportedly been 65% completed. After the two failures at the box office – Thoda Pyaar Thoda Magic (as director) and Break Ke Baad (as producer), Kunal is once again all geared up with his next release starring Shahid Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in main leads.

Kunal is of the view that this upcoming film would be more expensive than his 2006’s blockbuster, ‘Fanaa’ featuring Aamir Khan and Kajol as the main protagonists.

The music department is being handled by the musicians’ duo Sajid-Wajid and lyricist Prasoon Joshi. Kunal and Eros Entertainment join hands to produce the flick, which is slated for 2012 release all over.

Though there are so many big budget movies are going to rock at your nearest theater and most of them are increasing our anxiety through their promo like SRK’s Ra.One, RK’s Rockstar. But let me tell you Hritik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Priyanka Chopra, and Rishi Kapoor Starer remake of Agneepath has going to breaking the all records as per the promo viewing records says.

Promo of this much awaited movie Agneepath had been launched at august but it had been watched by tow billion viewers already. According to a source Agneepath promo is been the highest viewing promo till now in between last decade promo and most of the viewers are willing to watch it more than 2times on an average which is mind blowing.

As well all know Agneepath is a story of Vijay Dinanath Chawhan which had been played by Big B even he has got a national award for his performance also but Agneepath of modern era is looking much more devastating. Fairy and full of action pack.
