The men in white, Abbas-Mustan always allure the audiences with their movies. Their films are awaited hugely. Since the movies of this duo are laced with suspense thriller and swathed with lavish sets and international feel, the moviegoers would love to give them a wait. Well, the same is wait is being given to the upcoming Players by the audiences. The music of the film has been released and T-Series is behind the audio rights of the album. Pritam has once again composed the score, as he last had given to Abbas-Mustan’s Race, now he returns with the latest ‘Players’. Lyrics have been written by Ashish Pandit. Let’s check out the soundtrack’s worth now.

Jis Jagah Pe Khatam (Singers: Neeraj Shridhar, Siddharth Basrur and Mauli)

The soundtrack begins with a super electro song that spells magic with the souls. All the vocalists Neeraj, Siddharth and Mauli catch the rhythm perfectly to allure the ears. The lyrics are well written and the music is boisterous.

Rating: 4/5

Jis Jagah Pe Khatam – Remix

This one is fast paced but nonetheless holds much attention and the listener would love to hear it till the last.

Rating: 3.5/5

Jhoom Jhoom Ta Ja (Singer: Ritu Pathak)

Next song on the album cover is the one that has European touch and feel to lure the thirsty souls. It can safely be called the best song of the entire soundtrack of Players. Ritu makes it simply mesmerizing adding the flavours of Italian and Spanish for the true pleasures. Lyrics wise and musically, the song is a big joyous blast.

Rating: 4.5/5

Jhoom Jhoom Ta Hun Main (Singer: Siddharth Basrur)

Siddharth sings the second version. Although the guy raises the voice to goo level, but he does not have the magic what delivered by Ritu in previous version.

Rating: 2.5/5

Jhoom Jhoom Ta Hun Main (Film Version) (Singer: Arijit Singh)

Following next is the film version that is laced with the techno beats. Arijit loots the hearts with his marvelous singing. You would love to go for the repeat button as you must have done with Ritu’s version.

Rating: 4/5

Ho Gayi Tun (Singers: Yashita Yashpal and Bob)

This one song is simply dreary with monotonous effects. The robotics vibes disturb the ears. Yashita irks the ears and souls. Bob’s rap is a big lackluster. Lyrics are music both are big failures.

Rating: 1/5

Buddhi Do Bhagwaan (Charlies Song) (Singers: Shruti Pathak and Url)

Shruti is appealing with her rendition and the rapping of URL is apt for Abhishek, as when you hear you start feeling as if Abhishek himself is singing. Lyrics and music both hold values.

Rating: 3.5/5

Dil Ye Bekarar Kyun Hai (Singers: Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal)

So far in the album, there is no romantic song thus the need is fulfilled by Dil Ye sung supremely classy by Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal. Both simply inject the spongy pleasures in the ears. Lyrics are masterpiece and composition is a magic.

Rating: 4.5/5

Dil Ye Bekarar Kyun Hai (Reprise) (Singers: Nikhil D’Souza and Priyani Vani)

There is a second version – that is appealing but appears slightly fast than the original one but you love to hear it.

Rating: 3/5

Dil Ye Bekarar Kyun Hai (Remix) (Singers: Mohit Chauhan and Shreya Ghoshal)

Next version of this song is a remix that is a big lifeless piece to avoid at once.

Rating: 2.5/5

Overall:

Despite a few pleasure-disturbing tracks, overall album is a class to hear. The songs like Dil Ye Bekarar and Jhoom Jhoom Ta are the picks of the lot.

Overall Rating: 3.5/5
