She was talking to a daily newspaper. Sawant said that she raised her protest against this decision of fetching in the Pakistani actress in the show. Rakhi said that the channel must have roped in an Indian celebrity on the show. She expressed that who would accept Veena Malik as their bahu in India?

Rakhi said that she was a Pakistani national so this type of show should have been arranged in Pakistan not in India.

Further flaming the matter, the mirchy girl, urges Shiv Sena and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena to step up in this matter to stop the shooting and airing of the show.

The emotional drama queen then added that honestly she did not like the marriage at all after witnessing her parents’ marriage. She then also mentioned that if she found a good proposal, she might change her mind to get married.
