Deepika Padukone has expressed her desire to do the action films. She has been seen so far in romantic and drama movies but her desire to do an action-packed film is still there. Deepika had one more desire to work with the legebdary actor and south superstar Rajnikanth, which was fulfilled when she was signed in Rana. Unfortunately the movie was shelved. Now she is utterly happy that after the refusal of Katrina Kaif, she has been signed by Soundarya Rajnikanth to play the main lead opposite Rajnikanth in the movie ‘Kochadaiyyan’.

Deepika is super thrilled and waiting for the shooting to happen. Deepika now wants to do action movies. She has done some actions in Chandni Chown to China in past but now she likes a full action-packed movie to do. She has a sports background so she is of the view that doing action is not a big game for her.

Deepika might do action stunts in Kochadaiyyan since the movie will be action packed 3D venture. Deepika is also doing a film ‘Cocktail’ with Saif Ali Khan these days. And she is all praise for Saif saying he is a professional star. She says working with him provides a confidence.

While doing action films, Deepika wants to go on the lines of Angelina Jolie like she did in Tomb Raider. Deepika will sure look great while doing the action stunts since he curvaceous figure and long heights will help her look fabulous in the action sequences. Good luck to her.
