The comic caper Housefull 2 is finally out after a long wait. The utterly hilarious comedy is dished out for your pleasures and entertainment. The film is the sequel to Sajid Khan’s superhit comedy ‘Housefull’. The madcap entertainer features the big star cast – Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, John Abraham, Shreays Talpade, Asin, Zarine Khan, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shazahn, Boman Irani, Mithun Chakraborty, Rishi Kapoor to Randhir Kapoor. Sajid was pretty sure for the success prior to the release and the man might be right as the film has potential to hit the hearts and bag the good results at the box office.
The direction is fabulous and is potentially great to get the viewers glued to the screens till the climax. Story is fantastic and script is strapping but lacks somewhere as well. The film vows to give you bigger laughs and a well-knitted comedy to enjoy with. Watch this film putting your mind aside since it does not offer any intellectual factor at all.
Movie talks about four fathers (Boman Irani, Mithun Chakraborty, Randhir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor), four daughters (Zarine Khan, Asin, Jacqueline Fernandez and Shazahn Padamsee) and four sons in laws (Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Ritesih Deshmukh and Sheryas Talpade). The fathers want their daughters to get married with richest guys and girls too are under the impression that they are marrying with richest guys and each son in law portrays to be the richest one. They all live under one roof at same house.
Sajid Khan has made this film for the common masses which is why there is no intellectual comedy etc. It has been targeted to entertain the people and he has succeeded in his efforts.
First half of the film is laced with fun. Second half is something pleasure spoiling when the fun quotient seems to take the backseat.
Sajid is a good storyteller and he impresses with his direction. Story idea is great. Script by Sajid Khan, Tushar Hiranandani and Frahad is wonderful but consists of some flaws as well, which can be ignorable. Cinematography is first rate. Editing is okay. Music is melodious.
Akshay Kumar is in his elements. John Abraham attracts. Riteish is as usual brilliant. Shreyas Talpade is a class to watch. Asin is brilliant. Jacuqline, Zarine and Shazahn are glamorous and good actresses. The mature star cast from Boman Irani to Mithun Chakraborty to Ranndhir and Rishi all are great to watch.
On the whole, Housefull 2 is a well-made hilarious comedy that should be watched.
Everybody knows that John Abraham and Bipasha Basu have drifted apart for last one year and now they both arte in the arms of their respective new lovers. John is dating Priya, the banker whereas Bips is said to be dating with Rana Duggabati, not a famous name of entertainment industry. But she is hesitant in admitting her relationship with him.
Well, both love to peek into each other’s lives. Recently Bipasha Basu passed a fire-creating spicy remark on John, which he quickly responded. The saga was like this that Bipasaha in an interview said that John should now walk down the aisle as he was getting much old now. This was surely a taunt on him. This taunt shows that Bipasha is jealous of John’s new relationship with Priya with whom he is soon going to get married.
John instantly responded to her saying that he did not read the newspapers at all since he had left buying them for last four years. He also mentioned that he did not read whatever people said for him. Bipasha these days is saying in interviews that she wants to get married soon but needs a good guy. She is much impressed with R. Madhavan, her hero in Jodi Breakers. She even told him to search for a man like him who possessed the qualities like him. Madhavan’s wife….be careful and alert since this hot babe is single and is praising very high of your man. Bipasha also says that many men want to date her.
The sequel to Abbas-Mustan’s Race is high in the air and there are a number of talks about the project in the media. A lot has been written and is being written about this flick. Many additions are being done and we have also been witnessing the names who left the project. Well, the latest addition is the macho man of Bollywood Sanjay Dutt who himself has confirmed that he is very much in talks with the men in white Abbas-Mustan for joining in the outing.
The film stars the likes of Saif Ali Khan, Anil Kapoor, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone in the main lead. And now Sanju Baba is all set to make marks with Race 2.
Sanjay says that his entry into the project is not finalized yet but he has been talking with them and once anything constructive comes out, he will share it with the media.
Dutt is much happier for his upcoming mega project ‘Agneepath’ in which he enacts baddie ‘Kaancha Cheena’. Since many are making the comparisons of Sanjay’s character with Danny Denzongpa (who actually played this role of Kaancha in 1990’s Amitabh starrer), but this does not deter the actor rather he is of the view that he plays the character of Karan Malhotr’s (director of Karan Johar’s Agneepath) Kaancha Cheena. He utters he does not copy anyone’s style, he has his own style statement.
Recently Sanjay Dutt launched a martial arts competition ‘Super Fight League (SFL)’ joining hands together with Raj Kundra, Shilpa Shetty’s hubby.
Well, it seems that Akshay Kumar happens to be the reason behind the Bollywood debut of the fashion designer Kunal Rawal. Prior to his working on Akshay Kumar in the flick, ‘Desi Boyz’, Kunal gave the style to Sonam Kapoor in the film, ‘Aisha’. It is being said that Akshay is the main reason behind Kunal’s break into the world of movies.
But the question is how Kunal got his break in movies by Akshay Kumar? This is what happened that in a scene in Desi Boyz, Akshay was required to throw his shirt on the ground. And when he did so, Kunal accidently picked it up (as he is much conscious and cautious about his designed clothes, he went ahead in grabbing the shirt. The whole unit knew this since it was planned but the designer got to know when all gave him claps on getting the scene done in an apt manner.
The whole crew laughed big and this embarrassed the designer. But one thing is certain that due to Akshay Kumar, Kunal got his Bollywood break.
Desi Boyz is being expected to hit the jackpot. Apparently a blockbuster, the film will be liked by the audiences. The promos and the storyline of the film say that the viewers will welcome the movie. If the movie is successful, both Akshay and John’a career will further move upwards.
Akshay is playing the main lead opposite Chitrangda whereas John enacts the leading man of the leggy beauty Deepika Padukone.

FORCE AN AVERAGE YET CAPTIVATING MOVIE
Cast: John Abraham, Genelia D’souza
Director: Nishikant Kamath
Force as the name suggests, the movie is action packed but it is certainly not devoid of the “force of love”. The movie has got a fine balance between action and love, and the nuances of the emotional side of a typical man. The film is a remake of a super hit Tamil film, 'Kaakha Kaakha' (2003).It has a given breath of fresh air to the tried and tested formula of good vs evil, honest cop vs the underworld. The story involves ACP Yashwardhan (John Abraham) who is among the four brave officers of the Narcotics Deparment who are firm on their mission of bursting the dangerous drug racket. Though the other three had certain family commitments and weaknesses in them Yash had no one of his own. But obvious, a weakness was to be found for and by Yash and it comes as Maya (Genelia D’souza) who plays a social activist and the love interest of the duteous cop. She is his confidante, his support and besides that, she is fearless. Genelia was too cute and charming in the movie. Her pretty act captivates the audience and a perfect bollywood choice for Jyothika’s character in Kaakha Kaakha. As the life of Yash is on fulfilling track, a case related to Vishnu (Vidyut Jammal), a drug mafia proves costly for him and his accomplices. While tracing the people involved in major drug supply the cops happen to kill Vishnu’s elder brother (Anna, which is played by Mukesh Rishi) and then begins the deadly revenge. The four officers and their family members are his target. Yash’s decision to let happiness and normalcy into his life changes his life forever and finally he loses his sweetheart who brought these changes in him. Yet he manages to kill the rogue and continue with his duty of a powerful narcotic cop. The highlights of the movie were John Abraham’s brawny appearance and goes well with his role in the movie. His work out and homework (interacting with real-life narcotic cops) has definitely paid off. A vibrant and vivacious Genelia lits up the screen with her presence and the chemistry between both the actors is “off the charts”. But above all, the movie proves to be one of its own class because of Vidyut Jammal’s acting skills. He portrayed the character of Vishnu and plays an extraordinary villain. The songs are already a hit. Force showcases some superb craftsmanship, both in its action and emotional sequences and has a second half that literally hurtles at a frenetic pace, ensures that you never lose interest in the onscreen proceedings. All in all, force is a “paisa vasool” and especially a treat for the action lovers.
