Thank You Movie
Director : Anees Bazmee
Music : Pritam Chakraborty
Lyrics : Amitabh Bhattacharya, Ashish Pandit and Kumaar
Starring :
Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty, Celina Jaitly, Irrfan Khan, Rimi Sen and Mallika Sherawat
This movie, Thank You, is another rib tickling comedy from the director of Welcome, Anees Bazmee. Thank You can be called as a good, humorous, promising movie. Exotic locations, actors like Akshay Kumar etc are the USP of the film. Bazmee's movies normally have situational music but this film won't be remembered for it's music but still, one can not even miss the music release.
Remember the track "Apni To Jaise Taise" from the movie HOUSEFULL?? That one started the scene of 70s dancing numbers which continues in this film with "Pyaar Do Pyaar Lo". Sung by Mika Singh's voice, lyrics from Feroze Khan's JAANBAAZ, this song is like a club remix style track. The only part is that this one has been intruded with some crazy ANTARAS to make it comical and situational. This song will be interesting to see i.e how it works on the big screen!! The remix of the above song is done by Abhijeet Vaghani and is a classy disco number.
After the Badnaami of Munni and the Sheila's Jawaani, it's time, guys, to welcome Razia. It is an item number featuring none other than Mallika Sherawat. Razia is sung by Master Saleem and Ritu Pathak. This song has no attracting lyrics (lyrics by Ashish Pandit) but they are enough to keep you in mood and feel of the song.
Then, Razia has been remixed too and that too by Abhijeet Vaghani again. Infused with African tribal music, this one showcases Abhijeet's good DJ skills, making it disco like.
"Full Volume" is here and that too by Bombay Vikings. Neeraj Shreedhar's Indi pop can be remembered here. Sung by Richa Sharma and backed by Hard Kaur, this one has the discotheque feeling given by Pritam to it. Neeraj Shreedhar's singing is somewhat we all favour to listen and he's here to please you.
Full Volume has been remixed as well. It is a different DHOL beat club mix by Harry Anand. Some crazy and good rhythms and we get this hilarious number. This song is being waited for and will surely make you groove.
There is some serious music too, not just funky cool ones. There is a "Pyar Mein" which is like a Spanish feeling one. Javed Ali and Neeraj Shreedhar have sung it together. If you like Enrique Iglesias's Spanish guitar riffs, then this one's for you. It may not be that good for a catch but has some quality touch to it.
Thank You is a good, cool album with awesome dance numbers like PYAAR DO PYAAR LO, FULL VOLUME and RAZIA. You can expect good music from this album for sure.
