She was too happy when she was called for the recording of this song, she says. "I jumped with excitement." She also says that her experience composing with Pritam was very good. "He knows what he wants exactly from the singer. His view is very much clear."
On the untraditional lyrics by Jaydeep Sahni, she says they were very good and she enjoyed every minute of singing them. He has tried it in perfection, to be different from the regular words.
Savio Rodrigues has petitioned in the court asking to ban the theatrical release of the film saying that it has disrespected the women of Goa. He has also asked the bench to screen it before themselves so as to judge it.
When contacted, the distributors have agreed that if the judges ask for it, they will surely arrange for the screening. Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice S.C. Dharmadhikari, on Wednesday, looked at the promotion videos of this Abhishek - Bipasha starrer film. The next hearing has been fixed for April, 18th.
A distributor outside the court said that the objectionable dialogues have been deleted and now, there should not be any problem with the judges.
A female distributor has filed a case against the petitioner himself, accusing him of Harrassing at the eleventh hour. "The film reports have been in the media for much time now. Then, why at the last second, just before the release, he is caring to file the petition?" she said.
Hot Bollywood actress, Bipasha Basu, had recently expressed her anger that despite of her lead role in the new movie "Dum Maaro Dum", the item song was not given to her but to Deepika Padukone. Now that she was offered one, she started to show attitude and that too to the Bhatt camp, which gave her stardom.
Bipasha had done many films from the Bhatt camp in the starting of her career out of which she was even nominated for her work in Raaz and Jism. Mukesh Bhatt said that he is very sad about it. "We launched Bipasha and now, she's giving us this response. Now, we won't work with her in Murder 2" Mukesh said. He was asked about the exact statement of Bipasha's to which he said "Some months back, she was the one to ask us for the Vishesh films. But, now she has refused to do Murder 2 as it is not a female oriented movie. We asked her for an item number. She refused again."
"Bipasha sent me a message which said that she wanted Bosco Caesar to be the choreographer. We accepted that and talked to the guy but he asked for a big fees which we couldn't provide. When we sent her a message back, she didn't even reply." he continued.
The famous actor, Dev Anand is very angry these days because of a new movie which has been named as "Dum Maaro Dum". Actually, this exactly, is the name of a Dev Anand song. Director, Ramesh Sippy has said that it is very unfortunate for them that Dev Anand is not happy with us.
Dev Anand's 1971 superhit movie "Hare Rama Hare Krishna" had the song "Dum Maaro Dum" which has been re-incarnated and has been presented in a new way in front of the public. Rohan Sippy will be directing it and Deepika Padukone is dancing to the tunes of this song in the movie. The lyrics are something to be called as wierd.
According to Ramesh Sippy, "Yes, it is true that he is angry but we have the permission for this track. If we could have recieved his blessings, it was juct fantastic but then, there was some problem with the time. Before we could show him the song, it was in the media that he is angry. Nothing could then be done for that. It is very unfortunate for us."
In the movie, Abhishek Bachchan, Bipasha Basu and Prateek Babbar have played roles. It is to be released on April, 22nd.
Actor Abhishek Bachchan is continuously in touch with the cricket world cup and is very confident of India's victory. He was in Mumbai for a brand promotion where he said "India will surely win the cup this time. I am very sure about it. I have two tickets of the final match and I will be there to cheer Indian team."
Abhishek Bachchan recently attended the match between India and South Africa in Nagpur where the actress Bipasha Basu was also present, who is his co-actor in the next movies "Game" and "Dum Maaro Dum".
Actuall, the cricket world cup is the reason why their movies "Game" and "Dum Maaro Dum" will be released in April.
He was asked that doesn't he think releasing two movies so close in dates will be bad for the collections!! He replied "Personally, I would never like to see two of my movies coming out so closely together. But the, the decision stands with the directors and I can do nothing about it."
If Box office results are to be seen, last year was bad for Junior Bachchan. His two biggies "Raavan" and "Khele Hum Jee Jaan Se" were flops.
He says "I try to give my best in every next movie but sometimes even that's not enough for keeping the people happy. It hurts but also inspires me to do much better in the next movie."
