The comparison games between newbie Sonakshi Sinha and Katrina Kaif were very interesting when it came up in the news that the former is the most searched female celebrity on the internet. This, however is not true.

Recently, some websites had this news that a one film old girl has left Katrina far behind in the race of internet searches. But, when the publicity agent of the girl was contacted, he refused of having any such information on the survey.

He also rejected the press release in which Sonakshi had left these actresses like Katrina, Kareena and Sonam behind.

The most interesting part is that the "survey" which caused all this, is not available online.

An official related to one such website says that they never conducted any such surveys and of course never claimed that she is the most searched female celeb. He said "The results are of our website and not of the internet."

Whatever the truth may be, this news had Katrina troubled for sure as she was declared the most searched celeb on internet last year. At least now, Katrina can take some sighs of relief.

Anyway, Katrina had no point worrying over Sonakshi's popularity as she also knows that the Dabangg girl is trying a lot to keep in the news always and that may be the reason why Katrina didn't reply to Sonakshi's texts.

It seems as though Bollywood actress, Lara Dutta is much serious about her film production and making. It is a point of surprise as normally she saves herself from the regular publicity programs of different directors but for Mahesh Bhupati, she is doing all her possible deeds.

Now that husband has immersed a lot of money in the production of CHALO DILLI taking her in the female lead role, Lara doesn't want to leave any trace of deficiency on her part. She is continuously talking to many media personnel in relation with the film. She is promoting it on radio, television and on social networking websites as well.

She has been going to many TV shows but even Twitter is on her mind always. On Monday, she asked some related questions to her followers and promised to give away her's and Vinay's autographed merchandise to the winners. She has more than three lakh followers on Twitter and she would of course like to take full profit out of it.

No doubt, Lara is working hard to make Mahesh Bhupati, a successful film maker. But, it would have been so better for her career if she had worked that hard for her own first film??

Nowadays, the gossip shops are open in Bollywood and it is in the news that after his break up with Priyanka Chopra, Shahid Kapoor has taken the hands of Genelia D' Souza, to ease himself.

It seems as though Shahid is blowing his tears away on the shoulders of Genelia after his break up. According to sources, Shahid and Genelia are spending too much of time together at their mutual friend, Mubeena Ratanse's place. Mubeena is actually a friend who used to sort out all the differences between Shahid and Priyanka when they were together. Though, even the news of Shahid and Mubeena together was prevailent some time back.

Mubeena is the one behing this new found closeness between Genelia and Shahid. Mubeena had made a film, Urumi after which Genelia got to Shahid, thanks to her friendship with her.

However, it was Mubeena only who got Shahid and Priyanka together at the sets of Kameeney as she was the online producer of that film, then.

According to a close source of Mubeena's, she could not see her friend, Shahid, sad and hence, she got Genelia for him.
Anything can happen in the B'town, though there are not many of LUCKY Shahids around who have friends like Mubeena to help them.

Lara Dutta's first home production movie, Chalo Dilli is ready for screening and what the first looks show is that it might as well be "inspired" by a few Hollywood movies of the similar genre. The promotion is now out and it reveals that it will be a comedy film in which Lara will find a totally dissimilar personality in Vinay Pathak and befriends him, who takes her to Delhi. All this turn out to be eventful and there are surprises as well at every pause and play.

According to film maniac, "You will see that there are many Hollywood movies, this one has inspired out of. Remember the Amy Adams and Mathew Goode film LEAP YEAR?? It had Amy taking help of Matthew so that she could propose her boyfriend in Dublin exactly on the leap day."

Now, talking about LEAP YEAR, you will see that it was not the original one itself. It too was inspired off a 1934 classic Hollywood movie, named IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT, in which a heiress (Claudette Colbert) was running away from her family and was helped on her way by a man (Clark Gable), who played a reporter trying to get some story.

It has Indian inspirations too. Mahesh Bhatt had officially ripped IT HAPPENED ONE NIGHT starring Aamir Khan and Pooja Bhatt in DIL HAI KI MAANTA NAHIN, a 1991 film. It, too had a similar story of girl running to meet boyfriend.

Let's see where Lara and Vinay take us to? Delhi or Hollywood!!

Sonakshi Sinha, the daughter of Shatrunghan Sinha, you might have seen her only at the award functions. She played a village girl in Dabangg. Now, she will be romancing with Akshay Kumar in a new movie, Joker, which is a comedy caper.

Reportedly, she wanted an item number in it but choreographer Farah Khan was ready with some different plans for her.
As seen till now, Sonakshi is dancing to the tunes of a sensuous number in JOKER and she has other crew members to dance along as well.

According to the sources, it is not exactly an item number but it has definately got some special attention to it from the film makers. The name of this number is "Dance Karle English Mein, Nach Le Hindi Mein", which has ten different languages in it, told Shirish Kunder.
Sonakshi is very excited with this new avatar. She says "It was a dream for me and finally it completes in JOKER. It can not be called item song because they are the ones performed by the guests and I am the lead actress."

Shot in Chandigarh, the song is shown as in a village. She is in Indian clothes for nearly all parts of the movie and for the song, she is in ankled red/gold lehenga with hot backless choli and she is dancing some dangerously sexy moves as well.

She gave her voice in the film Dum Maaro Dum's title track "Mit Jaaye Gham" and has now attained one required success in the industry. She is Anushka Manchanda who is talking about her success graph and about the song.

She was asked whether she had fear of the song being compared to Asha Bhosle's original version of the song, she said that was a great song and it was too respectable for her to be considered able for the second version. "Original will be original, no one can tamper with it."

"Are you happy the way song has come out??"

"Some times back, cheap remixes were on their high but this one was better and different."

She was too happy when she was called for the recording of this song, she says. "I jumped with excitement." She also says that her experience composing with Pritam was very good. "He knows what he wants exactly from the singer. His view is very much clear."
On the untraditional lyrics by Jaydeep Sahni, she says they were very good and she enjoyed every minute of singing them. He has tried it in perfection, to be different from the regular words.

STORY :
The story of this film revolves around three brothers, Chiksi (Om Puri), Happy (Deepak Dobriyal) and Fancy (Shreyas Talpade), who live in Bhatinda, Punjab. There is no similarity in them and hence they don't like the company of one another. But, they find out that in order the get an amount of Rs. 17 crores left to them by their grandfather, they will have to live together in a old traditional family house in Chandigarh. If they fail to do so, the property will go to someone else. They decide to live together but do they succeed?? This is the story of the film.

STORY TREATMENT :
The expectations increase when Rakesh Omprakash Mehra makes a film. Plus, actors like Om Puri, Shreyas Talpade and Deepak Dobriyal must make a movie a good one. But, is TEEN THAY BHAI good enough. The answer is simply NO.
Actually, the basic film plot is too weak and even the screenplay is slow. The direction is weak too and hence the movie becomes irritating and boring. The first twenty minutes have the ability to keep you inside the theatres but after that even these good actors fail to make it a good movie.

STAR CAST :
Om Puri, Shreyas Talpade and Deepak Dobriyal have acted well according to the characters and the expectations they carry. The Punjabi dialogues by Om Puri are good. Acting by Deepak is also very good. Shreyas's comedy timing and delivery of the dialogues are just perfect. Ragini Khanna will have to work harder on her acting skills. She is quite okay in her small role.

DIRECTION :
Mrigdeep Singh Lamba is the director and this was his debut. He has failed to keep the audiences intact and specially the second part of the movie goes deeply boring.

MUSIC/CINEMATOGRAPHY/EDITING :
The music is better than the film and specially the background score by Daler Mehndi is good. Cinematography is okay. Some dialogues at some parts of the film really leave their impression and make their presence felt deeply. Editing could have been much better.

WHY TO SEE??
Some comic dialogues will make you laugh and good locations and good acting can also attract you.

Abhishek Bachchan has said that instead of being sad at the flop films, he tries to learn something from all of them and improve in the next ones to come.

He was in Delhi for the promotion of Dum Maaro Dum where he was asked about the continuous flops he was giving at the box office. He said "I don't feel sad for them but try to look at all my weaknesses so that I don't repeat them in future movies."

About the role he plays in this new film DMD, he said that he is playing ACP Kamat, who is a serious police officer but the way he plays pranks, is just awesome. I was impressed much by the attitude of my character".

He was also asked whether the role is like the one his father, Amitabh Bachchan, played in Zanjeer (Inspector Vijay) to which he told that the two are totally different.

Abhishek also said that earlier he was offered the role of DJ Jocky but he liked the role of Kamat. "Kamat suited me and my personality and that's why I liked it more."

Abhishek has sung a song in the movie "Thai Thai" about which he said that since he had sung for Bluffmaster earlier and that's why he had no problem with the singing. "The lyrics this time are different and impressive which made it amusing for me to sing them."

Kangana Ranaut is in Los Angeles. It is in the news that she stayed there so as to spend some time with her new friend, Gerrard Butler. Actually, Kangana was in the country for the shooting of her new movie, "Happy New Year" which is under the direction of Vinay Sapre.

After the schedule, the whole of it's unit returned home but not Kangana who had reportedly stayed back to be with the Hollywood actor, Gerrard Butler. Gerrard is not new for Bollywood ladies. He had partied with Priyanka Chopra in her Yaari Road apartment and even proposed her on his knees.

He had then said that he finds no problem in marrying an Indian girl but the bad part is that Priyanka has already got a boyfriend.
When Kangana and Gerrard met in LA, they wanted to spend some time with each other. They not only had some party time, also they went somewhere after pack up without informing the on set guys.

According to the sources, even the male lead Sunny Deol was there but since he never shows interest in any one's personal matters, he didn't ask her where she was going?

Kangana may be denying the fact but those on the set confirmed that she indeed went with Gerrard somewhere they didn't know of.

The first screening of Rohan Sippy's "Dum Maaro Dum" (DMD) could be held in front of the Panaji bench of the Bombay High court before the theatrical release on April 22nd.

Savio Rodrigues has petitioned in the court asking to ban the theatrical release of the film saying that it has disrespected the women of Goa. He has also asked the bench to screen it before themselves so as to judge it.

When contacted, the distributors have agreed that if the judges ask for it, they will surely arrange for the screening. Chief Justice Mohit Shah and Justice S.C. Dharmadhikari, on Wednesday, looked at the promotion videos of this Abhishek - Bipasha starrer film. The next hearing has been fixed for April, 18th.
A distributor outside the court said that the objectionable dialogues have been deleted and now, there should not be any problem with the judges.

A female distributor has filed a case against the petitioner himself, accusing him of Harrassing at the eleventh hour. "The film reports have been in the media for much time now. Then, why at the last second, just before the release, he is caring to file the petition?" she said.
