Amitabh Bachchan has recently lent his voice for a song for Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film ‘Bol Bachchan’ in which he makes the guest appearance and has shared the screen space with his song Abhishek Bachcahn after Banti Aur Babbli. In this track, Ajay Devgan too is featured along with the two – Sr. Bachchan and Junior. Bachchan.
Amitabh Bachchan is now scheduled to go to LA for the treatment of his stomach.
Amitabh Bachchan, who is called Big B by industry insiders and the media and even his fans too call him with the same name, is the actual Shehanshah of Bollywood. If Shahrukh Khan is the King of Bollywood, Amitabh Bachchan is the ruler of Bollywood and there is no denying about it. Bachchan has been endowing the viewers of Indian screens with his classy acts for last many decades and he is a big icon for the Indians. He is respected by the Indians and the world masses – thanks to his marvelous acting and his bigger persona as a superstar. His baritone vocals add further sparkles to his personality. His name and presence in any projects sell the things which is why he is roped in to the ventures and brand endorsements all the time. The mega star is super busy with horde of cinematic projects and endorsements even in this old age. This shows the worth of the star.
Well, now Amitabh has been fetched in to the film ‘Bol Bachchan’ as a guest star. He will share the screen space with his son Abhishek Bachchan (who plays the leading role in this film along with Ajay Devgan) once again after Bunty Aur Babli. Amitabh will be seen in a song with Abhishek and Ajay. For this song, senior Bachchan has also lent his vocals. The song has been choreographed by Chinni Prakash and this song is the title track of the movie.
In this number, Amitabh will also go to reprise his popular Anthony Gonsalves act (from yesteryears movie ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’). The film is slated for July 6th release.
Ram Gopal Verma’s latest release Department, which saw the day of light on this Friday, appeared the lowest opener at the box office of 2012. The film as per the reports made Rs. 2.5 crores (nett) on the opening day. The collections on the opening day for Ramu’s Department were much less that it got its place as the lowest box office opener of 2012. Previously this title was with Priyadarshan’s Ajay Devgan and Anil Kapoor starrer ‘Tezz’. Now they are happy that Ram Gopal Verma’s much hyped film ‘Department’ broke its record.
Ramu made the biggest hype for the film to make it happening among the crowds. He used all the right and available sources for the promotional activities of the film such as he used the hot item number fashion in the movie, he used the different style of song ‘Sanjay Dutt’s tribute to Big B with Thodi Si Jo Pe Li Hai’, and then so many other things. But at last all his efforts went in vain and he had to face the disappointment at the box office. This shows that the movies do not run with the star power but with the content. Department carries the big starcast like Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt but since its content was not strong, the film faced the failure at the box office. The bad reviews from the critics further are decreasing the worth of the movie because the movie buffs are now not ready to spend the money on the product which is not interesting no matter if it has Amitabh Bachchan and Sanjay Dutt.
