Police Commissioners across Gujarat are now holding special screening of ‘Singham’ to motivate their workforce to inculcate the same honesty and work ethic as depicted by Ajay Devgn in ‘Singham’.

Rajesh Asthana the Surat Police chief arranged for the screening of ‘Singham’ and nearly 2000 cops along with family members attended the special screening. Vadodara also saw about 400 cops turning out to watch the special screening of ‘Singham’ on Sunday at 7.30 am. More special screenings are in the pipeline and Rajkot’s deputy Commissioner told the media that there would be special screening of ‘Singham’ for the Rajkot Cops as well.

Gujarat has once again set a good social precedent by taking inspiration from a motivational well made movie like ‘Singham’. Are Mumbai Cops listening?

Singham, Director Rohit Shetty’s latest flick has opened to full houses this week. Singham is a remake of the Tamil Super hit film ‘Surya’. Ajay Devgn’s gamble of switching from Comedy to the Action Jaunre has paid off. Estimates say that the film will make anywhere between Rs 30 to Rs 32 crore in the first week itself. Singham’s budget is slated to be around 50 cr but trade analysts confirm that the film will recover the expenses and also go on to make a hefty profit.

The release of ‘Singham’ yesterday is a well timed move by the Producers. The audiences in general are downcast due to recession, corruption and also the latest Mumbai Bomb Blasts. They are therefore ready to embrace ‘Singham’ to see a flick where god triumphs the bad. The other factor that also would help the film is the fact that no other big Banner film has hit the theatres this week. ‘Singham’ is a well made Masala movie and is on its way to become a blockbuster.

All the three stars have not made a public acknowledgement of about this film but insiders have confirmed that the film is very much on the star’s minds and all aspects of Production are currently being worked out.
