Hrithik Roshan and Sanjay Dutt starrer Agneepath opened to packed houses and the film broke the previous records at the box office on the opening day. The movie broke the record of Salman Khan’s movie ‘Bodyguard’ which made Rs. 21 crores at the box office on its opening and Hrithik’s Agneepath collected Rs. 25 crores (nett) on the opening day. The film was a big success, it seemed but all of a sudden the collections dropped (unexpectedly) the following days.

The film got a four days long weekend, as it released one day before (on Thursday 26^th February, India’s Republic Day). This big fall was not being expected by the makers. It appeared a big disappointment for the distributors and the makers of the film.

The film is likely to finish the collection around 60 crores (nett) in the four days weekend (the reports are yet to come). Let’s wait and see what it offers!

Agneepath appears to be a success but not a blockbuster at all. It seems that the movie will likely to do better in Maharashtra belt.

Ghost, Shiney Ahuja and Sayali Bhagat starrer, collected around 7 crores nett in week two in single screens. It’s a below average. Abhishek Bachchan’s Players added the business of Rs. 2 crores nett in thid week’s collections. It finished with 30 crores. It is a disaster.

Agneepath’s collections really shocked the makers and the ones who invested in this film. Well, there are hopes that the film will start making good in the days to come.

Hrithik Roshan threw a success bash for his recent success ‘Agneepath’. The film has been on way to break the records. Agneepath broke the records for the first day collection by grossing more than 25 crores. It defeated Salman Khan starrer Bodyguard that grossed Rs. 21 crores on the first day.

At the party, a photographer called Sanju Baba ‘Kancha Cheena’ and what happened to him was what everybody saw. Actually Sanjay Dutt did not like him to be called with this name. This is what happened that Sanjay Dutt was leaving the party around 2:30 a.m. when the photographers were there out to click him. One of the photographers called him with the screen name ‘Kancha’ to get his attention, Sanjay returned to him and simply snapped at him.

This shows that Sanju baba does not like to be called with his screen name at all. Normally stars likes being called with the screen name. Recently Vidya was called with the name ‘Silk’ she portrayed in The Dirty Picture. But Sanju on the other hand does not like it at all. The film has been on way to make the bigger collections in India and abroad. Karan Johar is a happy man and is found portraying bigger smiles on face wherever he goes. Well, he has the reasons and he should do the same. Sanjay Dutt surpassed all his villainous roles with this one ‘Kancha’ as he really injected the life into this grey character which was earlier played by Danny Denzongupa.

Sunaina Roshan’s birthday bash was a ricking affair where the close pals of Hrithik Roshan from the film fraternity came to adorn the party and wished the birthday lady. The entire family of Roshans was there at the glittering event. The party was held at a party hall. Around two weeks back, Hrithik Roshan made the celebration of his birthday and now it is the time for the sister to make the celebrations.

Hrithik was looking dashing with wife Sussane Roshan. Kangana, who is Hrithik’s pal and is also working with Roshans in Krrish 3, came getting wrapped up with a ritzy outfit. She came with her sister Rangoli who often accompanies the babe wherever she goes to attend the parties or whatsoever.

Kunal Kapoor, another friend of Hrithik, specially came in. He and other pals enjoyed the bash fully. Sunaina wore a red gown and was looking sexy. Rakesh Roshan and Pinky Roshan, parents, and her uncle Rajesh Roshan also came to add sparkles to the event.

Hrithik is these days looking for his upcoming Agneepath which is all set to release by next week. He is playing Vijay Deenanath Chauhan in this film, the character Amitabh Bachchan had played in the original Agneepath made in 90s by Karan Johar’s late father Yash Johar. Sanjay Dutt plays the main villain in the film and Sanju’s character is much in talks due to his bald looks. It is hoped that Agneepath will be a hit since Karan Johar has made it already popular with the item number ‘Chikni Chameli’.

Karan Johar’s produced Agneepath has been making bigger waves among the masses and on the web in addition to the media. The item song ‘Chikni Chameli’ has already been high on popularity and even stayed on the chartbusters creating bigger ripples for Katrina Kaif and the makers of the film. The song is much hummable and alluring visually featuring the utmost sex bomb Katrina in a true sexy mood and style.

The song ‘O Saiyyan’ was released after Chikni Chameli and it too fetched a lot of attention of the viewers and movie buffs. Now Karan Johar, the intelligent marketer who knows the art of creatying hype for his products, has released the new song, ‘Gun Gun Guna’.

Hrithik Roshan and Priyanka Chopra do the sensuous act in the song and the number is really great to watch. She looks damn sexy and beautiful in a red sari. She is laced with classy screen presence which is why she looks great in the number.

Hrithik Roshan is playing the characters which Amitabh Bcahchan had played in Agneepath – Vijay Dhenanath Chauhan. Agneepath is the remake of the same film produced by Karan’s father Yash Johar.

Mithun Chakarborty’s character is new that was not in the original 1990s film. Sanjay Dutt plays the villain and Rishi Kapoor’s character too has grey shades. The film will soon hit the screen and Karan Malhota has directed this venture.

The item song ‘Chikni Chameli’ from Agneepath has been making bigger waves of popularity in the media generating utter vigor and the likeliness for the music fans. Katrina Kaif has turned more popular with the song. She is today’s much hot item girl in Bollywood industry that is why Karan Johar had encashed her fame by roping in her to do the hip shaking.

The track has now turned a big chartbuster on the channels and everyone is found humming it around. Karan is a brilliant marketing expert, he is on way to generate much and much publicity for the song and ultimately for the movie. He has now signed a deal with a popular Pizza company to launch a pizza after Chikni Chameli.

Katrina looks superb sexy and sizzling in the song and her sexy look is the main thing that has been making the people crazy. The pizza is going to be launched now and soon it will be in the market. The promotions and the marketing of the pizza will be done on all fronts including television advertisements.

Katrina Kaif’s demand has now turned to extra heights after this song’s release. She is now being even termed Chikni Chameli. Katrina is also the top heroine of Bollywood with a number of films in her kitty. The film offers are always at her doorstep. Her item song’s popularity has stretched to south film industry from where she recently received a big bucks offer for an item song but she denied as she does not want to make mark there.

Superstar and the heartthrob actor Hrithik Roshan was rushed to the hospital after he was injured on the sets of Karan Johar’s film, ‘Agneepath’.

Hrithik is playing the famous character of Vijay Dinanath Chauhan (which first Amitabh Bachchan had essayed many years back) in the movie. The film is the remake of Amitabh Bachchan starrer ‘Agneepath’. The original film was made by Yash Johar (Karan Johar’s late father) under the banner of Dharma Productions and directed by Mukul Anand. The flick was a big hit and now Yash’s son Karan Johar is churning out the remake with Hrithik Roshan in the main lead.

After Hrithik was hospitalized, the director Karan Malhotra canceled the shooting and announced that till Hrithik’s recovery there would be no shooting.

When asked, the hospital staff maintained the silence and did not disclose any detail on the superstar’s health.

The sources out there at the shooting reveal that Hrithik Roshan was supposed to lift a heavily built fighter, who weighed around 110 kg. When he lifted him, he received huge pressure at his back and began suffering the sharp pain.

Rakesh Roshan said that the reason of Hrithik’s hospitalization is not lifting the heavy built man rather his continuous hectic schedules of TV show ‘Just Dance’ and Johar’s film Agneepath’s shootings.

Hrithik is the actor who is famous for perfection whether it is a scene, dance or song. The fans are praying for his health and would be waiting for his return to work. Get well soon, Hrithik.

We all know and have heard a lot that the remake of Big B's famous movie, Agneepath is about to start!! There were lots of delayed times too. Some or the other problems kept it waiting. But, finally the shooting of this remake has started under the direction of Karan Johar. Amitabh Bachchan is playing a role too in this remake bbut not the same he played in the original one. In this one, Vijay Deenanath Chauhan will be played by Hritik Roshan.

This role is very challengin for Hritik for obvious reasons. This is considered a quality role by Amitabh Bachchan. It is to be remembered that he also got a national award for it. But, even Hritik is ready for the role and has done too much of tough work for this one. He has done a lot of homework along with Karan Johar. Now, the shooting has started with a special scene.

Last days, a shot of Dahi Handi was taken in which Hritik climbed a human pyramid and broke the Matki at certain height. In the scene, he is looking like a pure Mumbaiya.

It will be interesting to see whether Hritik does the required justice to Vijay Deenanath Chauhan or not!!

That Piggy Chops is rather particular about her commitments became apparent, when her shooting for Karan Johar’s ‘Agneepath’ got canceled due to an earlier shoot that went beyond the stipulated time. She was really looking forward to starting the shoot. Although Priyanka expects the same level of commitment from others and gets put off by cancellations, in this case she had no option but to take it in her stride.

Not one to sit and twiddle her thumbs, she rushed off to Anurag Basu, who directs her in ‘Barfi’, and prevailed upon him to help her prepare for her role as a mentally challenged girl in the film. Although Anurag was busy with other pre-production work, he could do little in the face of an adamant Priyanka. So, off they went visiting a few institutions for the mentally and physically challenged. She even roped in Ranbir Kapoor in the lengthy workshops.

Incidentally, Karan Johar’s ‘Agneepath’ is a remake of the same name that stars Hrithik and Priyanka and is being directed by Karan Malhotra. The original, shot in 1990, was directed by Mukul Anand and had Amitabh Bachchan in the lead role.

Remember the sauve Kancha Cheena of the 1990 cult classic ‘Agneepath’, brilliantly played by Danny Denzongpa? Well, Karan Johar is all set to revive the magic that his father weaved by remaking ‘Agneepath’.  The movie gets a makeover at the hands of this ace filmmaker by setting it in contemporary times. While the original film was shot in Mauritius, the new version is based in Diu.

But this is not the whole news. Sanjay Dutt has been roped in for the role of Kancha Cheena, but with a difference – he will go totally bald! If Aamir Khan can do it in ‘Ghajini’ and Big B in ‘Pa’, who can stop the 51-year-old actor to get a fully tonsured look? Maybe Sanju has taken a cue from these movies and wants to present something refreshingly different.

Recently, a bald Sanju was seen on the sets of ‘Agneepath’ in Central Mumbai. But the very next day, he had his usual mop on his head! How? Simple, my dearies, the Dutt-boy has not got his hair tonsured at all, but is using high quality shiny pate to cover the mop, supervised by Robin Slater, the internationally renowned make-up artist. Has this got anything to do with Manyataa? Who are we to say!
