Karan Johar, the producer of the upcoming and much-awaited flick Agneepath, has narrated that no one can even dare to copy Amitabh Bachchan’s style and no one can emulate the style Amitabh played portraying Vijay Deenanath Chauhan in the original 1990s film of his father Yash Johar.

Johar stated that though he and the director of the film Karan Malhotra created Vijay Deenanath Chauhan character in the remake of Bachchan’s Agneepath giving it to Hrithik to play but they did not try to copy the utter style of Bachchan. He mentioned that they just took the core of the character. Hrithik Roshan is playing the character of Amitabh Bachchan in the movie.

Karan Johar further stated that original Agneepath was not the biggest blockbuster but it got the commercial values and through the dialogues, Amitabh spoke, the movie got hugely popular later.

Johar has been making the film an utter commercial by putting all kinds of spices to lure the audiences. He roped in Katrina Kaif to do the specially arranged item number in utter 70s, 80s bar style where Katrina does the jhatkas with pava hitting to her waist. The song has already become the apple of all listeners turning a chartbuster.

Now he inked a deal with a pizza company to launch a pizza on the song ‘Chikni Chameli’. The pizza is all set to be launched and soon the ads will start rolling on the channels. Agneepath will hit the screens early next year in January 2012.

Dharma Productions makes the remake of the Amitabh Bachchan starrer blockbuster Agneepath (that was originally made with Amitabh in the lead by Yash Johar in 90s) taking Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra in the main leads. Karan Johar, the son of the deceased filmmaker and the producer Yash Johar, is much excited to churn out the remake of his father’s blockbuster product. Karan and his mother Hiroo Johar produce the flick under their banner Dharma Productions.

The film is directed by Karan Malhotra, who also writes the screenplay of the movie. Ajay Gogavale and Atul Gogavale score the music whereas Amitabh Bhattacharya writes the lyrics for the film songs. The film’s shooting is going on and the movie is expected to hit the theaters on January 26^th, 2012.

Katrina Kaif has specially been roped in to do an item number.

Synopsis:

Mandwa, a small village in India, where Vijay Dinanath Chauhann (Hrithik Roshan) gets the training by his principled father about the fire’s path, Agneepath. Vijay’s life gets utterly scattered when a hazardous drug dealer Kancha (Sanjay dutt) drags his father and hangs him to death. Along with his pregnant mother, Vijay leaves the place to reach Mumbai. He now has only one purpose and mission in his life and that is to return to Mandwa to tackle the things with Kancha. He wants revenge from the drug dealer.

In Mumbai, the 12-year-old Vijay gets to meet the gang leader of the city Rauf Lala (Rishi Kapoor) who takes him under his mentorship. From this point on, the saga takes place of revenge where Vijay does all to reach at Kancha. Kaali (Priyanka Chopra) his love supports him all the way. After 15 years, he gets all set to take revenge from Kancha.
