Directed and written by Kirshan-Baadal, Valentine’s Night has hit the cinema houses today. The movie stars Payal Rohatgi, Sangram Singh, Rahul Singh, Manisha Pradhan, Neha Thakur and Rakhi Sawant in the main leads. It is a suspense thriller.
We have been witnessing many thrillers made on the night’s events and many a films were made on the long night that never ended. Valentine’s Night is one of them. The film is about a night out on the roads. Set in Delhi, the film talks about the five young cool youngsters. They all have broken up and nursing their pains. The heartbroken couples met up on social networking site and plan to meet up by throwing their sorrows and pains of separation behind. They now zero in to spend a night together partying in a hired limo. They start partying and enjoying fully singing songs and the things.
Soon the movie finds sub plots by generating the twists and turns. All five soon sunk into jat politics that is a racket of drugs and prostitution. Then the movie turns into a murder mystery. What happens next who has murdered? This is what Valentine’s Night tells the viewers.
The direction is pretty poor. There is no scope in direction. It lacks the punch needed for the suspense thrillers or murder mysteries. The story is ordinary and the script is a big lackluster. Cinematography is below average. Editing is a failure.
No actor has the power to entice the viewers at all. Payal Rohatgi is just for skin show. She does not know acting – this is obvious from all of her flicks. Rakhi Sawant is pretty ordinary. Rahul Singh is okay. Sangram Singh is plain average. Rest of the cast is mundane.
On the whole, Valentine’s Night is best to be avoided. It is a waste of time and money.
