The men in white Abbas-Mustan’s Players is around the corner and has been on its way to generate the oomph factor for the film. The movie is lavish and lush grabbing the attention of the viewers who are pretty anxious to turn to the cinema halls upon the release. Viacom 18 Motion Pictures’ presentations and Burmawala Bros’ production, Players features Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Bipasha Basu and Neil Nitin Mukesh in the pivotal roles. The film will be out in theaters on 6th January 2012 all over the world.
The lavish action thriller is directed by Abbas-Mustan and carries the tunes arranged by Pritam. Ashish Pandit has penned the lyrics for the movie.
Synopsis:
This extravaganza, which is much in news, is the remake of the successful Hollywood movie, ‘The Italian Job’ and apparently vows to give the same pleasures to the Indian and world audiences which they derived from the Hollywood flick.
Players is the story of the team of thieves who schemes a plan to rob the gold bullion from an ex-associate who double crossed them. What happens next forms the story and lets the viewers enjoy with the sequences of speed chase, swanky cars, innovative visual effects and much more.
The film has been shot at the various eye-candy locales of New Zealand and Goa.
Abhishek Bachchan plays Charlie. Sonam Kapoor plays Naina. Bipasha Basu enacts the role of Riya whereas Bobby Deol essays the character of Ronnie. Neil Nitin Mukesh enacts Spider whereas Sikandar Kher plays Bilal.
