Sonakshi Sinha is set act opposite Akshay Kumar in the sequel of ‘Once upon a Time in Mumbai'. Inspite of all the controversies surrounding the movie before its release, ‘Once upon a time in Mumbai’ was able to garner decent box office collections.
The Producers of the movie are now keen to cash in on the original movie’s success which was declared a hit inspite of being caught in several controversies leading up to its release. The Producers have roped in the Dabang girl Sonakshi Sinha for the role of 'Mandakini' for the films sequel.
Sonakshi Sinha is still basking in glory of her debut film went on to become a super hit. Sonakshi Sinha has since then been flooded with offers and has her hands full. Infact the sources tell us that she has had to refuse some plum projects because of her dairy being already full. But this is one sequel that all the leading ladies of Bollywood have been vying for and Sonakshi Sinha has beaten Kareena Kapoor, Katrina Kaif and Deepika Padukone to bag this role with Bollywood’s action Hero Akshay Kumar.
Sonakshi was in news recently for her guest appearance in Shahrukh Khan's home production Ra.one. After having worked with 2 superstars, Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan. SonakshiSinha now has the opportunity to work with Superstar Akshay Kumar in the sequel of the movie 'Once upon a Time in Mumbai'
