On the eve of the Hindi cinema’s legendary late star Raj Kapoor’s 24th death anniversary (which took place on June 2nd), his grandson Ranbir Kapoor says that he has the collection of the fond memories of his grandfather which are still afresh in his mind. Raj Kapoor passed away on June 2nd 1988 when he was 63 years old.
Ranbir utters that he was just six years old when his grandfather Raj Kapoor passed away. Ranbir says that he still remembers the days when Raj Kapoor used to call all the kids to his room at home – he, his sister and all cousins including Karishma and Kareena Kapoor. He used to have toffees with him and he used to ask the kids to perform and upon performance, he would give us the toffees, which was a big reward at that time for all the little kids.
Late Raj Kapoor was also endowed with the title of Showman (in his life) by the industry because of his unique style and the super hits he gave to Hindi cinema such as Shree 420, Awara, Boot Polish, Sangam and Bobby.
Ranbir Kapoor is these days supremely rocking after the success of Rockstar and now he is working in numerous films which will start releasing soon. He is a big heartthrob of the youngsters nowadays. The actor is in big demands and the filmmakers want to fetch him in the movies due to his brilliant acting skills and charming personality. He is a real rockstar.
