Recently Shahid Kapoor was seen asking an explanation from Piggy Chops to clear his name post reports presenting him in bad light. The couple has had a break up months ago, but they cannot leave each other, for negative reasons though. This week they had a war of words with each other. Shahid feels that this ‘desi girl’ is planting negative stories about him, she confronted her to which she completely broke down and the two ended up arguing hotly with each other.
Close source to the couple reveals, "Shahid is disturbed by stories that talk about him desperately chasing Priyanka to woo her back into his life. He has moved on and so has Priyanka. But the stories didn't stop. The actor refused to take a stand though friends suggested that his ex might be behind the stories. When he'd bring it up, she'd vehemently deny it or start crying. The actor would take her at her word and leave it at that."
The hue cry started when a chosen few from media termed him a ‘stalker’. Confirming the news, a friend of Shahid says, "She was extremely upset at being called a stalker. He decided to get to the bottom of the matter and confronted PC. The logic was, if he had to contact her he would do it in seclusion and not in front of 50 people at a party."
The word exchanging business turned into a furious argument and Priyanka was left in tears post the incident. The same friend reveals, "She kept telling Shahid she had no clue why people were talking like that.”
However, the couple has been touch with each other and meets every day for script reading session for a film of Kunal Kohli.
