Ladies vs Ricky Bahl opened on Friday. Yash Raj Films’ mega project witnessed mixed bag collections on the opening day in India and even at many locations, the results appeared lower for the first day collections. Nonetheless there were certain multiplexes that recorded around 50-60% collections for the movie for the first day opening.
Delhi market happened to be pretty well with the collections on first day. The movie now needs jump for the coming days to be steady at the box office.
Vidya Balan’s The Dirty Picture was super hit with bigger collections on the first day and still the movie is going pretty good.
Desi Boyz again dropped around 80-85 percent in its second week but the trade reports say that the movie might do well in the third week onwards. It’s below average.

Ladies vs Ricky Bahl has to do hard to get the big collections. As it was the biggest hype of the movie, the expectations for the box office collections were higher but the movie could not generate the oomph to get the viewers out of the homes to theaters. The Dirty Picture took the audience out and has been going on pretty well making Vidya’s star power more strapping.
The pair – Ranveer Singh and Anushka Sharma’s previous hit ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ had made good collections but this time the pair could not generate any worth.
