Shahrukh Khan, Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai starrer Devdas has been put into the top 10 list of the best movies of the millennium. It is the biggest distinction for Sanjay Leela Bhansali who made this movie almost a decade back. The movie got its place among the Time Magazine’s list of 10 best movies of the millennium. Famed film critic Richard Corliss put the movie into the list. It got its place at the eighth place on the list. The film shares the juncture with the flicks such as Avatar, Moulin Rouge, The Lord of the Rings, Wall E and The Hurt Locker.
Corliss is filled with much praise for the movie and says that the film carries brilliant plot, superb dancing, heavy emotions and a lot to attract the moviegoers.
Devdas marks its 10th anniversary and the maker of the movie Sanjay Leela Bhansali wants to make this film in 3D format now. The movie had received superb rave reviews from the critics and the audiences had simply loved the flick. It looted the hearts of the people in India and across the borders. The entire world, wherever the Bollywood presence existed, got mesmerized with the charms of the movie that also carries the spongy melodious music to enjoy with. The dancing skills of Madhuri Dixit and Aishwarya Rai got supremely applauded. Still the people would love to watch it time and again. Shah Rukh’s drunken acting is mesmerizing and Madhuri’s dancing is classy and Aishwarya’s love-filled emotions are spellbinding.
