Film Critic: Goher Iqbal Punn

Kya Yehi Sach Hai releases today but the flick is a mundane show to take the eyes off the product. The release time of the film was superb since there was no major release rather any of the release in cinemas. And above all the New Year’s Eve is around. But the bad product cannot generate the audience. Thus the filmmaker lost the golden opportunity.

Y P Singh, the former IPS officer directs this venture. The flick has been made on the novel of Singh ‘Carnage by Angels’ released way back in 2003. The novel uplifted the curtain from the corruption and malpractices exist in the society and found in police.

Kya Yehi Sach Hai has also bagged the Silver Award in the Narrative Film Category at the California Film Awards last year in 2010. The execution of the flick is ordinary that does not have any potential to bind the viewers to the screens. The story is good but the screenplay is poor.

The saga of the film develops into many turns and twists but then begins focusing much on various things at a time. The dialogues, which should be heart-warming and attention grabbing for this kind of movie, are simply lackluster. The characterization of the movie is not up to the mark.

It looks like a documentary than a movie. The constant typical police band’s music simply irritates the ears. Cinematography is below average. Editing is really drastic.

The performances of the stars are bad, no one tries to raise the spirits of the audiences. These types of movies are what boil the blood and attention is fixed on the screen but watching this every moviegoers wants to skip from the theater.

On the whole, Kya Yehi Sach Hai is a poor show all the way. Don’t waste money and time.

Bappi Lahiri, the coveted composer of Bollywood who is also known as the king of Indian pop, is all set to enter into Bigg Boss house. Well , guys, don’t get mistaken. He is not stepping into the house for participation rather will be entering to entertain the housemates on New Year’s Eve.

Bappi’s entry would be loved by the participants as he is quite famous these days due to his song ‘Oh La La’ from The Dirty Picture.

Bappi Lahiri has been in the industry for more than 40 years conferring the audiences with his marvelous electrifying compositions. His compositions are what send the real chill through the bodies making the listeners tap their feet. He is simply remarkable composer that is why he is still active in the industry.  Lahiri normally celebrates the New Year with his family and this time he will be with housemates of Bigg Boss but he is sure to make the celebrations with family. His family is in Europe for New Year and he will join them after his appearance on the Bigg Boss house. Well, let’s wait to see Bappi Da spreading sparkles on the house.

UTV’s head honcho Siddharth Roy Kapur is in deep love with Vidya Balan, the super sex bomb of the Bollywood industry. Katrina Kaif, who is in London currently, has said that she would shake the sexy hips on New Year’s Eve if she is offered the bigger bucks on which she can buy a new home in London. Well, Katrina already has a bigger house in London but she wants a new lavish home for the family there.

Bipasha Basu is looking ahead for the upcoming New Year with bigger excitements and she wants to start the year with gusto and above all her birthday on January 7^th too is coming. She does not want to pour down on the past year 2011. She said it went well for her but she does not want focusing what she did and what was bad for her in the year. Rather she would like to pour her focus on the coming year.

The New Year will begin for Basu with the lavish Players for which she would soon begin the out of the country tour for promotion. She also does not want to talk about the relationship as she said that it was over.

When asked about the Tamil version of Dabangg song ‘Munni Badnam’ which was offered to her and she demanded one crore for the item song, she responded that she asked for the price she deserved as per her market value. Bipasha said that often in the industry, the price is misquoted but the fact is what she asks is what she deserves.

On not performing on the eve of New Year, she revealed that she had been doing so for last four years consecutiovely and this time, she wanted to make the celebrations with family and friends. He praised higher for the voluptuously sexy actress of Bollywood trade saying that she has tremendous talents which she flaunted in the movie aptly. He said that her talents need no name at all. So why she should be called ‘Khan’?

In Raavan, Nikhil Dwivedi’s performance was appreciated by the moviegoers. And then in the flick, Shor in the City, he again mesmerized the audiences. Now he is all set to portray the best role of lifetime. Well, he is going to portray a role on the lines of the actual life romance of Abu Salem and Monica Bedi in the forthcoming film, ‘Tamanchey’.

A close source reveals that the film is an aggressive, passionate and utterly addictive love saga between the two criminals while they are on the run from the law. Nikhil’s character has been made on the lines of Munna of Teezab. The film is based on the lives of gangsters, the film pours light on the actual lives of the gangsters as to how they spend? The film would be a mixture of facts, real incidents and fiction.

A super steamy and intimate scene was picturised between Nikhil and Delhi based super sex goddess Richa Chadda. It is being said that this shot would be among the boldest acts of Bollywood. The scene was shot in Gujrat. To recreate the scenario and the sets, mammoth research work has been done prior to the filming. A lot of effort was also made on writing a script. Nikhil is going gaga these days as he is all set to do more movies. Currently he is doing Vikram Bhatt’s film in Delhi.

Well, wait and see this guy’s success that is certain to come up. He has been enticing the audiences so far in his career.
