Super Star Salman Khan headed to US yesterday after his jaw pain became unbearable. Salman Khan suffers from a neurological condition known as suicide disease or trigeminal neuralgia.

The condition first showed up in the year 2007 while the star was shooting for the film Partner. Salman Khan’s family is known to celebrate Ganesh Utsov and Eid with equal zest and the actor did not wish to undergo surgery for his condition till these festivities got over.

Salman Khan had no option but to fly out to the US immediately to address the condition. He will be operated as soon as the medical reports are done with. Salman Khan’s sister Alvira Agnihotri and his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail are accompanying him on this trip.

Salman Khan was in two minds about going ahead with the surgery which is long overdue. He was left with no option as painkillers beyond a point would have had a negative effect on his health. We wish Salman Khan a quick recovery and also wish his upcoming Film ‘Bodyguard’ super success.

Sonam Kapoor is known to rub many people the wrong way because of sounding obnoxious. The actress however feels that her nature of being straightforward is often misinterpreted. Heartthrob of Teenagers Shahid Kapoor when asked about Sonam Kapoor’s ways while shooting for their upcoming film ‘Mausam’, commented, "We will make another film on Sonam's tantrums, it will make for an entertaining script. Unfortunately it is all fiction and not real. There were no issues at all,”

Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor has reportedly become thick pals courtesy the film ‘Mausam’ who’s shooting went on for well over 1 ½ years. Shahid Kapoor is so impressed by Sonam Kapoor’s fashion sense that he is now getting his wardrobe designed by Sonam Kapoor’s fashion designer Kunal Rawal.

We definitely know that Sonam Kapoor and Shahid Kapoor have become thick buddies and the proof came when Shahid Kapoor further said "Sonam is very sweet and talkative. Obviously we got friendly. Two people spending one-and-a-half year together..it is so difficult to not get friendly, na. She has done the most important film for me," . We wish Shaid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor a lifelong friendship.

Shahrukh Khan has been battling his knee pain for quite some time and has been working through a lot of pain. His act at IIFA awards this year in Toronto was a miracle in itself because Doctors had advised Shahrukh Khan against dancing due to his fragile knees. The reports from IIFA suggested that King Khan danced on stage despite being in a lot of pain for the sake of fulfilling his professional commitments.

The actor has been off the social circuit of late and the speculation is that it’s because of his knee troubles. Shahrukh Khan was to undergo the knee surgery sometime back but decided to postpone it to October this Year in order to supervise the post production work of ‘Ra One’ which is his own Production.

Shahrukh Khan Fans would be relieved to hear that the Super Star is getting better after his tweet that read "Been away getting my knee treatment done. Two days of intense pain. feel much better today and feel like getting bak to work."

It has been reported that Kareena Kapoor has asked the Film maker and the Producers UTV a fee of 6 crore plus a share of Profit as her fee for ‘Heroine’. The makers have no choice because Kareena Kapoor is the only actress who fits the role. Therefore it comes as no surprise that the Producers have agreed to pay Kareena Kapoor the amount demanded by her.

Bollywood has always considered ‘Heroines’ as arm candy and the payments to Heroines has be abysmally low than their male counterparts. Kareena Kapoor sets a new precedent with ‘Heroine’ and her competition may soon follow suit.

Anna Hazare’s anti corruption movement has all the right elements of a Bollywood Blockbuster in the making. Prakash Jha known for his hard hitting films especially with regard to Politics has announced a film based on ‘Anna Hazare and his drive against corruption’. The movie is aptly titled ‘Satyagraha’ and is set to go on the floors sometime in 2012. The rest of the star cast is yet to be decided but the film will have Super star Amitabh Bachchan playing the central character.

We are left wondering why the Ramu Factory has not jumped on to the bandwagon and already made a film on this hot topic. The Anna Hazare movement is gathering such enormous momentum that any film maker who makes a movie on this topic in the upcoming months is bound to find success.

We hope that Prakash Jha’s film ‘Satyagraha’ inspires the future generations to stand up against corruption and make India a better nation. The present generation is truly lucky to be experiencing the power of ‘Satyagraha’. Anna Hazare’s fight against corruption is similar to what the freedom Fighters would have experienced during their struggle for India’s Independence. Salman Khan recent hits like ‘Wanted’ and ‘Dabangg’ have featured Railways as part of some important action sequences or as a backdrop for important scenes. As fans await his much talked about film ‘Bodyguard’ and its no surprise that the hunk has shot a Train sequence with Kareena Kapoor for this film. Salman Khan request to include the train sequence was accepted by the Producers and the Director Siddique when Salman Khan told them about his firm belief of his film going on to be a super hit if the film has a train sequence. The Director of Bodyguard did confirm the news about shooting the additional sequence upon Salman Khan’s request and said “We have some good action scenes on the trains. I’m sure audiences will love them”.

The Indian Railways on their part can now try and approach Salman Khan to be their Brand Ambassador. We are sure that Salman Khan will sign the dotted line.

Kareena Kapoor upcoming film ‘Bodyguard’ with Salman Khan is set to release soon. In a season of remakes ‘Bodyguard’ is a remake of ‘Shera’ a Malayalam Movie that was released in 2010. The forgotten Bollywood Actor Atul Agnihotri is the Producer of the movie.

Top Notch Bollywood Art Director Samir Chanda passed away on Thursday just a few hours after taking ill due to a drug reaction. Samir Chanda was not only a top Art Director but was also known to be a very down to earth person. He was well known for some amazing art work in films such as Rang De Basanti and Delhi 6 and many more.

Samir Chanda was a close friend of Bollywood’s showman Subhash Ghai. Reacting to the sudden demise of his dear friend Subhash Ghai said "I am shocked. Samir Chanda did Kisna and Black & White with me. He was also a teacher at an acting school. He was polite, artistic, innovative and dedicated. He was a great art director, always loving and smiling. He was indeed a man of integrity. This is a great loss to us."

Mahesh Bhatt also recalled Samir Chanda’s contribution, "I am reminded of his smile. His simplicity and passion for details. He was a warm man with a great passion for detail."

The whole Bollywood Industry will truly reflect on what more Samir Chanda’s magical contribution would be if he hadn’t been snatched away at 54 years of age. Our deepest Condolences are with the Chanda family in this moment of grief.

Bollywood Gossip Mongers have been circulating stories of a huge cat fight between Bollywood Darling Katrina Kaif and upcoming actress Anushka Sharma. Katrina Kaif was peeved at this rumor being circulated about the alleged Cat Fight between her and Anushka Sharma during the shooting of Mere Brother Ki Dulhan.

On being asked about the rumor and non denial on her part Katrina Kaif said “Just because someone is poking me, doesn’t mean I have to respond. Such reports are a sign of foolishness These rumours that make us look like children in a playground, are so disheartening. We are not like that in real life.”

Katrina Kaif is definitely hurt by the treatment being meted out to her by the irresponsible press. She added “Despite being in the industry for so many years, I have never asked for recognition. When I see people stooping down to that level, it’s upsetting. Give me a little bit of respect. I have worked here for very long.”.

We couldn’t agree more. The poor girl needs a break and we hope the gossip mongers are willing to understand.

Yahoo India has decided to launch 'Movieplex' service. This service will be a huge treat for Bollywood fans as they will be able to legally watch Bollywood Films for free on this Yahoo channel on the internet. Some of the recent Bollywood hits such as Rock On and Rann are already on Movieplex. Yahoo is in talks with different Production Houses to procure content. Producers are likely to be interested in exploring the viewer ship and revenue through this latest offering by the internet giant. This will also help cure the cancer of Piracy that Bollywood Producers dearly dread about.

Managing Director of Yahoo! India Arun Tadanki said, "Over 30 million Internet users consume 1.7 billion videos every month across India. With the increasing demand for online video, both consumers and content providers are looking for a trusted destination where quality content can be consumed in a piracy-free environment at their leisure."

It seems like Bollywood is set for an internet revolution of sorts.
