Salman Khan is now set to act in the film ‘Sher Khan’. The film will be a moral based film on sensitive issues such as animal poaching and land encroachments. The majority of the film will be shot in Thailand. It’s believed that Superstar Salman Khan and some of the cast and the crew members would extensively be trained by animal training experts before the shooting commences.
Sohail Khan will direct the film after a long gap of 9 years. Sohail Khan, the actor Director Brother of Salman Khan was said to be keen on making ‘Sher Khan’ into a 3D animation film but dropped such plans when Salman Khan did not approve of such a move. Salman Khan is said to have communicated to his brother that investing money to make a 3D film wasn’t a great idea because the Indian Audiences may not accept this subject.
Sohail Khan on his part had this to say about ‘Sher Khan’, “Majority of the scenes will be shot with a real tiger; we also plan to use special effects like computer graphics (CG) and Animaltronics. We will take a lot of pictures of the real tiger and create a CG version of it. Whenever Salman and the tiger are together in a close-up, we plan to use that technology. For shots which are not too dangerously close, we will use the real tiger.”.
Salman Khan would be hoping that by shooting a majority of this film outside India he won’t get into trouble one more time with the animal activists. The good part this time around is that the film is being made to send out a positive message. Seems like the ‘Black Buck’ incident has changed Salman Khan and this is his way of showing repentance.
