Aishwarya Rai former Miss World was in a relationship with Salman Khan is a known fact. Their breakup was also quite well documented. Both the superstars started dating in 1999 and had a bitter breakup in 2001. Salman Khan was madly in love with Aishwarya Rai but his antics proved detrimental and Aishwarya Rai called off their relationship.

A lot has changed since then. Aishwarya Rai is now married to Abhishek Bachchan who is the son of legendary Actor Amitabh Bachchan. The Bachchan family is practically the first family of ‘Bollywood’

Amitabh Bachchan recently tweeted with excitement that his Bahu Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was an expectant mother. Congratulatory messages from the Bollywood Fraternity have been pouring in since the announcement.

Salman Khan was gracious enough to send his Congratulatory message too. He took a moment during a Blackberry launch function to congratulate the Bachchan family.

Salman’s message was "I would like to congratulate Mr. Bachchan that he is going to become a grandfather and also Abhishek and Aishwarya. I hope they make a whole football team,”

Salman Khan’s gesture says a lot about how he has changed as a person and his fans really appreciate it.
