There has been much buzz and excitement after the news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s pregnancy was made public recently by Superstar Amitabh Bachchan. Abhishek Bachchan is also said to be super excited and will start making preparations to welcome their baby as soon as his film promotions related commitments are over.

While the Bachchan’s have been flooded with Congratulatory messages there has been intense speculation whether the Bachchan Bahu will continue to work after becoming a mom. Abhishek Bachchan has left it to his wife Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to decide about what she would like to do.

The news is out that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will take a break and will make a comeback in the year 2012. Viacom 18 is the company to have made the contract with her to star in their Bollywood Production that goes on the floors in the later stages of 2012.

Bollywood Producers and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s fans are overjoyed with this announcement. It’s no secret that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan remains the most reputed and recognizable brand and her decision to sign a film and continue her association with bollywood albeit in late 2012 is something that’s bound to keep the excitement about the Bachchan Bahu going.

Aditya Narayan famous playback singer Udit Narayan’s son is trying hard to carve a niche in the entertainment industry. His father famous playback singer Udit Narayan is more or less a forgotten singer but Aditya his son wants to be a part of all the glitz and glamour World.

Aditya has been successful as a musical show host. He is seen as a cool guy and has a sizeable female following. This female following may be under threat after news about Aditya Narayan’s  controversial conduct made its way around the Mumbai’s social circuit.

The incident happened when Aditya tried to impress a pretty lady at a famous resto bar in Mumbai. The young lady did not respond to Aditya Narayan’s overturns and Aditya not used to being sidelined retorted by using foul words aimed at insulting this lady.

The lady in question was pissed off at such immature and improper behavior and insiders say that she gave a tight slap to the slightly drunken Aditya Narayan’s face.

Aditya Narayan did admit to a verbal spat with someone but profusely denied the slapping incident. Udit Narayan has had a negative press about his alleged 2^nd wife. With Aditya Narayan now under the scanner due to his unacceptable behavior, it seems like controversy is Udit and Aditya’s favorite child.

With Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s pregnancy news out gossip mongers are having a time of their life. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has chosen to remain quiet about all the rumours surrounding her pregnancy but a few others have been caught off guard with their names being dragged into limelight as a repercussion of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s pregnancy.

The latest to bear the brunt is the fiery Bollywood star Preity Zinta. Preity Zinta was rumoured to have replaced Aishwarya in Rajkumar Santoshi’s next film ‘Ladies and Gentlemen’. Preity Zinta known for her forthright attitude was shocked to hear this report in the media circles.

Preity Zinta is reportedly a close friend of both Aishwarya and Abhishek Bachchan and she is delighted at the news of Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy. She is not in India at the moment but would certainly be celebrating this good news with the Bachchan’s once she returns home.

When asked for her reaction on the alleged rumour about she being Aishwarya Rai’s replacement, the dimpled star Preity Zinta retorted by saying “Aishwarya is very dear friend of mine and I congratulate her on her good news. However, I’m personally very disturbed and I really fail to understand why no one checks with me on the authenticity of the reports. Rajkumarji is a close friend and so are the Bachchans and I do hope these baseless rumours are not encouraged.”

Another rumour dies its own death. We hope that the media will stop harassing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and other hapless stars with such gossips in future.

Aamir Khan has done it all. He is a Producer, Director and of course a brilliant actor. The Superstar is leaving no stone unturned to promote his latest production, upcoming movie ‘Delhi Belly’.

Aamir Khan was in news recently when he became the hottest ‘item’ boy of Bollywood. This has however not gone down very well with Aamir Khan’s kids Junaid and Aira. The teenagers were deeply embarrassed when they saw their dad dancing to the item number from his film ‘Delhi Belly’.

Taking about his kids reaction to his item song, Aamir Khan said "My son Junaid and my daughter Aira were like, (covering his face) 'Papa what have you done?' ...and they shut their eyes and said 'what have you done' and they were most embarrassed by my amazing dancing,". The superstar was not unduly perturbed by Junaid and Aira’s reaction. He added "You know... it often happens, your children are always embarrassed of you.”

Imran Khan who is Aamir Khan’s nephew and plays the central character in ‘Delhi Belly’ said, "Somewhere I feel he is lacking the sexiness that a lot of the other item girls have been able to bring in."

Producer Director Madhur Bhandarkar has shelved his ambitious film ‘Heroine’. The Producer Director who is known for his realistic portrayal and hard hitting films was shocked to know that his film’s lead actress is 5 months pregnant. The shooting of his dream movie with ‘Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’ had already commenced and a 10 day schedule had already been completed. Madhur Bhandarkar was planning ‘Heroine’s’ next schedule when the news of Aishwarya Rai’s pregnancy came out. Though Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is ready to shoot as per the dates given by her for this film, Madhur Bhandarkar realized that it was impossible for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan to shoot certain scenes from the film which included scenes like ‘running around, smoking, getting drunk’.

Madhur Bhandarkar is hugely disappointed about the fact that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan did not inform him about her pregnancy before giving the dates and more importantly before the commencement of the shooting for ‘Heroine’.

A source close to Madhur Bhandarkar said "About R 3.5-4 crore have gone down the drain. About 10 days of the shoot were completed at a set in Vile Parle, Mumbai. The special set was erected and a red light area was recreated in it. Madhur was really excited about this movie. But because of the circumstances, he has no option but to shelve the project. No one anticipated this situation."

While everyone in Bollywood is busy sending their good wishes to the Bachchan family, Madhur Bhandarkar has gone quiet preferring to make no comment about ‘Heroine’ or his leading lady ‘Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’.

Actress Minisha Lamba and Bipasha Basu have been in news for evading or trying to evade customs duty. Now it’s the turn of 23 year old newbie star Anushka Sharma. The young actress has been on a high ever since her super hit movie ‘Baand Baaja Baraat’ released in theatres this year.

She got into trouble while returning to Mumbai from the glittering IIFA award 2011 function held at Toronto. Anushka Sharma was held for questioning by the custom officials as she was found carrying 35 lakhs worth undeclared gold and diamond jewellery.

The ‘Baand Baaja Baraat’ star landed at 2.30 pm at the Mumbai airport yesterday and was let off by the Custom authorities well past midnight after 9 hours of questioning.

Anushka Sharma defended carrying so much of jewellery with her by saying that this was her own personal jewellery that she had declared while flying out from Mumbai so the question of paying a duty does not arise. The actress has submitted the relevant documents and the customs officials are verifying her claim.

The Customs Commissioner P M Govande told PTI that the actress may be called in for further questioning if needed.

Shahrukh Khan did perform at the IIFA award 2011 function against the advice of his doctors against any such measure. Gauri Khan, King Khan’s wife tried to persuade him to back off from the event on account of a knee injury.

Salman Khan is IIFA’s official Brand Ambassador but he chose to stay away from this year’s event. Instead Shahrukh Khan’s performance hogged all the limelight. Shahrukh Khan has an iconic stature Worldwide and is especially loved by the NRI community. The superstar did not want to disappoint zillions of fans who had come to see him perform at IIFA this year. King Khan went ahead and danced with aplomb.

Shahrukh Khan also danced to Salman Khan’s ‘Dabangg’ song. The dance steps of King Khan were modified in order to ease the punishment to his knee. Even after such a measure Shahrukh Khan limped off the stage, after his performance in a lot of agony. His knee was bleeding profusely but he danced his heart out till the whole performance was done away with.

Choreographer Shiamak Davar said, "Shah Rukh danced through his pain like a true master. He was in agony. But he still rocked the crowds. I'm so proud of him."

Shahrukh Khan has set new standards of professionalism but honoring his commitment to dance at IIFA even through an injury. Salman Khan who has been known to keep his professional commitments skipped this year’s IIFA Awards. With his performance at IIFA, Shahrukh Khan seems to have scored a point or is it just professionalism on his part? Do we smell something here!

Nothing seems going right for the dusky beauty Bipasha Basu at the moment. After a bitter breakup with long time boyfriend John Abraham, Bipasha Basu was hoping to attract eye balls for all the right reasons. The biggest International gathering of Bollywood stars at IIFA awards 2011 left Bipasha Basu bemused.

Bipasha Basu is known for her penchant for sexy outfits. She even has the panache to carry off these outfits. The problem with Bipasha Basu’s outfit at this year’s IIFA was that Ameesha Patel wore the same outfit in a different shade than hers.

Bipasha Basu does not plan her outfits in advance. She has loads of outfits ready for every occasion and pulls out one at the very last moment as per her mood dictates.

Bipasha Basu and Ameesha Patel had sourced their outfits from Celebrity Fashion designer Ramona Narang. After this incident Bipasha wrote this message on her twitter account, “Last night a fellow actress landed up wearing the same dress in a diff color as me on d green carpet! It ws quite amusing even for me:), Next time I'll plan my green carpet outfit in advance n nt pull out things frm my cupboard last min!:) Anyways u can't stop the world frm buying d same things n keep a tab on all!"

Bipasha Basu was cool about the whole incident later and said, “There is nothing to worry. I found this incident amusing. Next time, I will only wear dresses designed exclusively for me.”

It seems a lesson well learnt for this dusky damsel!

Katrina Kaif will turn 27 on July 16^th and the buzz is that the sweet sexy actress will be celebrating it in grand style. Katrina Kaif has been avoiding any big celebration on her birthday due to the controversy between her beau Salman Khan and Bollywood King Shahrukh Khan that happened on her Birthday 4 years ago.

If sources are to be believed then Kat as she is popularly known is planning a big party on 16^th July this year and all the people who have made a difference to her life would be invited.

There is enough buzz about this party in Bollywood circles but Katrina Kaif when asked about this her Birthday Plan denied having made any such plans. Katrina had this to say when quizzed further “"I have not planned anything yet. My movie Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is releasing on 15th July so most probably I will be busy with the promotional activities."

Katrina Kaif is also likely to devote some time on her birthday for charity. Her mother does a lot of charity work and Katrina seems to have inherited this trait too.

This is truly a heart warming gesture for her fans who love her not just because of her item numbers but also because she is a sweet girl with a heart of gold.

Shahana Goswami got the surprise of her life when Producer Director Madhur Bhandarkar offered her a role in his much talked about film ‘Heroine’

Shahana had been chilling out on a vacation in Spain. She barely returned to Mumbai and got this surprise call from Producer Director Madhur Bhandarkar. Shahana’s joy doubled when she got to know that she will be working along side Bollywood Queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Shahana Goswami was quoted as saying “Unlike her diva like aura that she has around her, she is quite a down to earth, soft spoken woman. I have met her earlier when she came for one of our outdoor schedules, but working with her is a different feeling all together. She is an absolute professional and helps her co-stars in whatever way she can. Also she is very real; with her what you see is what you get. It also helps that she is a lovely actor and a person. We have just started shooting for the film and I am looking forward to much more,”

The shooting for this film is already underway. Madhur Bhandarkar will be quite keen to wrap up the schedule of this film as soon as possible with the news of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s pregnancy coming in. Shahana Goswami will not be complaining of overload of work because she gets to work with the Bollywood diva Aishwarya Rai Bachchan herself.
